🐾 Meet Bernard! 🐾

Bernard is an adult Rottweiler who is a gentle giant! Bernie has been doing a day-session package for the past few months so he can learn while his parents are hard at work! Bernie is working on over-excitement and reactivity while out on walks. He is a lovable dog that works really hard, and we have seen so much improvement so far!

Otto is a one and a half year old french bulldog. He recently had a training consultation to address selective reactivity in his neighborhood. Otto is working on learning name recognition, impulse control, controlled tug-of-war, and redirections!

Kobe is a six month old adorable rottweiler puppy! After her puppy consultation, she started training- walks 2x a week to start her training on the right foot and give her a great foundation. She has already come so far in her training, and is on her way to being a well-mannered adult pup!

On Sunday we started our first “Leash Reactivity: Capturing Calm” class, and we are thrilled with this group of dogs and handlers! We are so excited to see these dogs grow over the next month or so. Great work everyone!

Henry, TGC student, hopes that everyone enjoyed their Father’s Day yesterday! He spent some of the day in his “Mastering Manners” course working on refining loose leash walking and impulse control. He has come so far in the past two months and we can’t wait to see where the future takes him! 🐾🤍

Trust your dog! It is so easy to be overwhelmed or frustrated with our dogs when they are having a behavior issue. However, it’s so important to be understanding and compassionate if they are struggling. If your dog is having a hard time, believe them. Then, figure out a way to help them through it!

Just like us, dogs will have their off days too. Patience and empathy go a long way in helping them feel safe and loved. Remember, they rely on us to guide them through their tough moments. 🤍🐾
