I'm making and canning bread and butter pickles today. My friend Megan calls them "Tommy Slicers." Best pickle recipe I've come across available below (click image). Originally from my pal Mrs. Briskman, my favorite pickle impresario!

I love bread-and-butter pickles: not too sweet; not too sour; can stand on their own; and can dress up any sandwich worth its weight in Cougar Gold .
