TINGEWICK FETE

Here we are at the Tingewick Fete.

Come and see us. You can hardly miss us with our bright pink colours. Even the hook a duck pond is pink!

We have some really nice things to buy plus our kiddies games that adults seem to like as well!

As well as items to sell we have our Lolly Lotto, Lucky Dip, Teddy Tombola and of course our ever popular hook a duck. All the above games are a prize every time.

Cooper has woken up especially to thank everyone that took part in Travis Tuesday yesterday. We raised £90!

Cooper thinks that the money will be used for treats. He’s blissfully unaware that it’s going to pay for his castration next week. 😉

Sorry Cooper. There will be treats but it’s necessary to get you sorted out.

You will remember a few weeks ago I asked you to vote for Travis as your favourite charity to be considered for the support of Jollyes Pet Food Store. We were up against several other worthy causes but with all your votes we absolutely smashed it!

We streaked ahead with a huge amount of votes. Far more than I ever would have imagined so thank you to everyone that voted for us. I’m absolutely thrilled to have won this!

I’m hugely proud of what I’ve achieved over the past nine years from first setting up Travis. It’s been hard work physically and mentally and my early followers will remember there was a nasty troll trying to derail myself and Travis in the early months but I pushed through it. I’m not one to be intimated and wasn’t about to give up!

None of it would have been possible without the help and support of my volunteers and of course all of you.

So, once again THANK YOU!!! ❤️

Sorry we’re late posting about the amount we took on Travis Tuesday but Cooper has been busy with his new toy.

We managed to take £83 which will go towards the care of the cats and kittens here at Travis Cat Rescue. We have to take the six kittens that were found in a field next to a derelict farm to the vet next week for a health check. They have sticky eyes which can easily treated.

Remember we’ve been looking for their mum? One of our volunteers was talking to a dog walker while they were monitoring the area again. Apparently a cat was found on one of the grid roads very close to the location where the kittens were found. The cat had been hit by a car and sadly died. 😭 We are assuming it was the kittens mum because there has been no sign of a cat anywhere near where the kittens were found.

I hate those damn grid roads. The amount of cats killed on them is dreadful. I won’t home anywhere near them. It’s a pain because a lot of estates in Milton Keynes are close to one of them.

Anyway, thank you to everyone that took part in Travis Tuesday this week. We couldn’t do what we do without your help.
