Spooky has been struggling for the last 5 months or so. He had a bout of sneezing and so we went to the vet, where he got a shot of antibiotics. Within 2 days he had diarrhea and he's had it off and on since. Mostly on. I've tried several different probiotics, sent his p**p out to be analyzed, (it did not raise any alarms) and now he has started on a gastrointestinal biome dry food that's prescription, that seems to be helping but I'm not going to say it's the answer just yet. The longest we have gone without any diarrhea was a week, but then it starts in again. With this new food, we are on day 6 with no diarrhea. I surely hope this is the answer. But only time will tell. Spooky is 16 years old and other than this diarrhea, he's been pretty healthy. I'd like to keep him around a while so I'm hoping we can get him straightened out.

This little boy has my heart. He has brought so much laughter into my grieving soul. He just makes me smile.

I bought a new cat tree for my cats because the other one was very used and falling apart. However they don't like the new tree because they don't seem to want to get on it. I've never had this problem before. There is one flaw with the design of this tree, they can't get from level one to level two very easily so Jim is going to add a little shelf in between the levels to get them up there. That hasn't happened yet though and they seem to have no interest in it at all. Mac has slept in the little sling that it has, and I got this pic of Grizzy sitting on level one, but their interest seems lackadaisical. I guess my next move is to get some catnip and sprinkle it around and see if that gets them interested in it.
