Today, I Wandered all the way to the Humane Society of St. Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands!! 🐾🌴 The duffel bag has been delivered and the staff was incredibly greatful for the donation of Heartworm and Flea/Tick Prevention.

Thank you to all of my donors for contributing your amazing supplies! It was such a blessing for the Humane Society to receive such high quality medications for their dogs.

To my vet friends, if you ever have supplies💊 to donate, please reach out!! I plan to continue making medication deliveries to areas in need. If you're interested in participating in a spay/neuter clinic 🩺 on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, please reach out. I’m happy to share more information! They are always in need of veterinary assistance and welcome visiting vets! I hope to return! 👩🏼‍⚕️🐾

When our largest patient in Wisconsin has GI upset 💩😕 and we happen to be wandering in Wisconsin on family business, desperate times call for desperate measures!! With some creative scheduling and location scouting we were able to rendezvous with Daisy’s human to get sweet Daisy the care she needed! 💊🩺
So grateful that God lined it up for all of us to get Daisy back on the road to recovery! 😊

It was BIG DOG Day for The Wandering Vet! Minimum 120 # to participate!! These 3 kiddos totaled 404 #.⚖️
These beastly angels are all too reactive and aggressive to go to a traditional vet's office. 😬With some calming premeds, muzzle training and tasty snacks everyone had a great visit!! Full physical exams and vaccines for all and I made a few friends👩🏼‍⚕️
P was a VERY GOOD boy until it was time for the scale 😆... when he flopped on the floor throwing a tantrum like a kid in the grocery store!! Mom and I got our workout picking up his 150 # self to correctly weigh him on the scale! 🐾💕

My time at FARM (Farm Animal Refresher for Missions) was educational and inspiring! So much fun to be with my tribe, Christian Vet Mission, and surprising to see that I still know how to operate a head gate on a cattle chute 🐮 and restrain a goat 🐐😆
Praying for the next opportunity to share God’s love in practical ways on the mission field.

I had the honor and privilege to present to developing Veterinary leaders this weekend at the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association Power of 10 class! We had great discussions about Veterinary Entrepreneurship, Developing Resilience and Fear Free Practices.
These conversations are always a joy for me. We can share ideas and inspire one another to walk out our calling well! As a graduate of Power of 10, I know these classes propelled me forward in my career as well!

Our pets are always communicating with us!! In case you need to know how your cat feels about the thermostat.... Keep this handy reference! 🥶😻
Remember, just like with humans.... Very young, old, or immunocompromised pets may need extra warmth.... Or you'll find that old cranky cat on your face! (See photo in comments)
