We are so excited you decided to stop by. We hope that you will enjoy our products as much as we love making them. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you a little bit about how and why we decided to start up our business. Sibling Ravelry is the collaborative creation of Cecette R., Jocelyn L. and Rozalind S. So what's with the name?? We came up with the name one nig
ht video chatting with each other while crocheting and knitting. Although we are not all direct siblings we were raised together and consider each other as such hence "Sibling". Ravelry is a modern definition of "A knitting or crocheting party or celebration. Often noisy merrymaking, and there may or may not be drinking involved. Most things made during inebriated ravelry are often mistakes". In each others company we often spend hours doing just this so it only seemed fitting that we have ravelry in our business name as this is where most of our creations are derived from. Therefore we decided to use a play on words and came up with "Sibling Ravelry". Who are the creators?? Cecette R. A 28 year old resident of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. An RN, wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. Her passions are baking, sewing, and gardening. When not working you will find her running her kids to their various activities. As well as volunteer work with the local Kinette chapter. Jocelyn L. A 25 year old resident of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Currently working in Northern Saskatchewan doing project coordination and HR. Her passions are traveling, reading, baking and crocheting. When she is not working you will often find her curled up in a blanket with a hot cup of coffee, surrounded by yarn, immersed in a crocheting project. Rozalind S. A 30 year old resident of Shelburne, Nova Scotia. An Athletic Therapist working in a physiotherapy clinic. Her passions are yoga, knitting, and playing with her 2 German Shepherds. When not working you will find her cruising in her Honda Shadow motorcycle. Why did you start the business? We are so passionate about what we do and we love creating products that can be used everyday. We wanted to share our creations with not only our family and friends but with you too! Starting a business means that we are all able to continue creating and producing products and love doing what we do everyday.
