Meet Draco. He is perhaps one of the most chilled out, patient little dudes I've met.
It took 5 attempts to chip him and have his chip stay in recently 😱!!!! I was ready to call our vet and have the chip gluded in!!
In all chips I've implanted over the last few years (over 650) we have occasionally (maybe max15) had the odd chip come back out of mainly younger kittens. Their skin is very thin and it can happen. You can also get a batch of chips that are just not perfect. It's not common, but it can happen.
The most attempts prior to this was 3 times on one little girl !!!
Draco is a perfect example of why we tell our clients to always have their vet scan at their yearly check ups to ensure chips are still present and functioning.
Draco had me so worried I've waited a week to post him on our page just so I could be sure his chip stayed put!!!
What a beautiful boy he is 💖

Young Leo went off on an adventure worrying his family for a few days recently!!!
Leo received a complimentary chip today from Campbelltown Lost Found and Injured Pets so if he wanders again we can contact his family and get him back home.

I was so privileged to meet Charley today. This little man turned up at a local colony a while ago
Much worse for wear but certainly too gentle to be a stray.
Sure he was nervous of a new human but he was such a brave boy getting his chip!!!
After weeks of kindness, love and care by one of our beautiful colony carers, the turnaround is amazing.
We can never say thank you enough to the awesome people devoting their time and their own money to make a difference to these little lost souls..💕

Cyprus is an absolute social butterfly 🦋
This got him in strife when all he was doing was saying "Hello" and someone took him from his quiet little street. He wasn't chipped so the worry was he wouldn't get back home.. fast forward, thankfully he was taken home.
We chipped him today so as if that happens again we can contact his Mum straight away.
We thought we would share the love and chip his mate Max as well!!! He was thrilled 😜

This little girl started off a little bit scared and lost when Jenny first found her.
Campbelltown Lost Found and Injured Pets checked her for a chip but none could be found. Jenny did all the right things, shared posts, checked with neighbours etc...no luck.
Fast forward a few weeks and she has become an absolute snuggle puss and landed a forever home!!!
She is yet to be named by her new fam but she now has a chip.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet her again and see the difference some TLC can make 💕

This gorgeous girl was found this week tied to a log😞 She was rescued by a lovely girl and kept safe.
Sadly no owner came forward but....its ok!!!
The same beautiful family took her in, named her Lucy, gave her a forever home and today it was made official with a microchip!!!
We wish them all the very best and we cannot thank this amazing family enough for their kindness ❤️
