Please share so that (1) the fox might be found and, if still alive, tended to and (2) the people responsible can be caught. The incident took place in a field near the intersection of State Route 501 and Locust Street in Heidelberg Township on the afternoon of Jan. 20. Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Southeast Region at 1-833-PGC-HUNT or the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-888-PGC-8001. Tips can also be made online.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission are looking for the two snowmobilers who chased the fox for more than 30 minutes.

Well done PA

Exciting update for Pennsylvania families and pets in crisis! House Bill 1210 (Protecting Families and Pets in Crisis), championed by Rep. Christina Sappey and PA State Rep. Natalie Mihalek, signed into law by Governor Josh Shapiro, officially goes into effect today as Act 146! This bill ensures that victims of domestic abuse can leave dangerous situations without leaving any family members behind, including their beloved pets. This is a powerful step forward for protecting both families and the animals they love. Huge thanks to all the groups and individuals who did their part! Let's all continue to raise our voices for meaningful change for animals! ❤️🐕

This family obviously loves their dog. But many interactions between the dog and the children in this video are unsafe--e.g. allowing little ones to play doctor and stick things in the dog's ear! If a child stuck a toy in another child's ear, likely we would intervene, not record it on video. While this sweet dog seems very tolerant, the next dog the child encounters may well not be. 0/10 for missing the opportunity to teach children how to safely interact with dogs.
