Pictured here are infantrymen of “C” Company Royal Rifles of Canada, and their mascot, a Newfoundland Dog named Gander, en route to Hong Kong on 27 October 1941. Gander saved the lives of a number of Canadian soldiers during the Battle of Lye Mun on Hong Kong Island in December 1941.

Second best to the love you give!

Hi! We are a Brooklin Family helping our neighbours to make sure their pets are getting the love and care they need when the family is away. Our kids have grown up with giant breed puppies to dogs and kittens to cats. They are skilled at walking and picking up after pets. When you are away we will spend time giving them the love and care they deserve. Our main service area is Carnwith and Cachet. Please contact if you are in another area of Brooklin.
