Guys, I want to say a big thank you to everyone that has followed my fur baby. It is with a heavy heart after months of struggle with a mystery illness, Sirius passed away after a dental procedure. He made it through the procedure but passed in recovery.
He will be missed.

Sirius's mom here, this is a rough post... Sirius Blue has been having some issues and at almost 12, it's not surprising. He needs an MRI to check his spine at the Lumbar Sacral area for stenosis. He's just not holding his curly floof up like he used to and the ortho said it could be that. The closest to where we live is in Dallas, TX. I'm not asking for a random donation, rather if you would purchase a t-shirt with Sirius in his Christmas bow-tie and a Santa hat that his sister, Kira, designed to help pay for the visit and trip to Texas. We also have one that has his head and that famous husky side eye that reads Fluff Off in old English. Let me know what you think!
Mom snuck a picture. Guys, I've been having some trouble. My hips hurt and my heart hurts. I miss my sis and look for her all the time (why my heart hurts).
I have an ortho consult next week to see about my hips. Wish me luck.
Hey guys! Mom had to take me to the vet Monday (and this fortifies Sis's opinion I was a goat in a pervious life, whatever that means) because I ate several pieces of her gum Sunday night while Mom & G'ma were at dinner.
I smelled something amazing in Mom's backpack and Husky rules, it was mine, right?
(From Sirius's mom: Xylitol is toxic to dogs. Sirius Blue ingested 10-15 pieces of Ice Breakers gum. Xylitol poisoning can cause vomiting (that's just one sign) and more devastating, acute liver failure. Sirius was kept for observation Monday with 2 liver panels to check his levels and a return visit Wednesday to be sure he wasn't going to have a delayed reaction. Thankfully, he didn't. The boy is fine. He is a mystery to Doc Bridges at Town and Country Animal Hospital. It should have cause liver failure, so maybe I overestimated the amount he consumed. But the old man is stubborn!)

I got brushed the other day by a professional! She gave me back to Mom with this super cute bandana with my name on it. Dat Pooch Mobile Dog Grooming... not afraid of working with sassy boys like me.

I will lay anywhere! Husky rules... everything is mine and the vent cools off my floofy butt.
This was from a little over a year ago when the pandemic started. Mom wouldn't share... I've never had Jelly Belly's but they looked yummy!
My new favorite place to "nap," or lay, when Mom's doing homework and can't play. (Or waiting for sis to get home from work.)
