PittieLove Rescue, Inc.

PittieLove Rescue, Inc. 501c3 non-profit Pit Bull rescue organization-finding dogs their best homes-MA-Lic #0155 PittieLove Rescue, Inc.

is an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of Pit Bull Terrier type dogs. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been

so sorely absent from their lives. Working closely with animal shelters, animal control facilities and rescue organizations and volunteers throughout New England, we strive to save as many dogs as our resources will allow. All dogs who successfully pass our temperament evaluation are placed into loving foster homes where they are provided with quality veterinary care, initial training, and extensive socialization (with both people and animals of all ages). All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. As experienced Pit Bull parents, all of our volunteers are happy to assist potential fosters and adopters with any questions or concerns they may have at every stage of each of our dogs’ lives, and beyond. Potential adopters are provided with applicable information relating to the specific dog that they are interested in. Although we do not accept dogs into our program that show aggression toward other dogs, we prefer to place our rescued dogs as only pets or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex.¹

Our strict adoption policies include, but are not limited to, a comprehensive application process (with personal and vet reference checks), an initial phone screen, and a home visit. Please read our Adoption Policies on our website for more detailed information.

¹ It is important to distinguish the difference between dog/animal aggression and human aggression. Human aggression is not a normal trait of pit bull-type dogs.

Honeycrisp, now Apple, goes home! This beautiful seal grey sweetheart came to us from our friends . Amazing foster Erika, and her adoptable sidekick Maverick, gave this cutie a safe and loving place to decompress and learn to puppy. Apple learned the ins and outs of zoomies, tug, and especially snuggles. Last February, John and Lisa lost their beloved pittie Tuxedo. They have been toying with the idea of honoring his memory by adopting another deserving pup. One look at Apples ice blue eyes and they knew they were smitten. Here is the pretty little lady of the hour, already perfecting her head tilt! Happiest of lives little Apple, we love you! ❤

Macintosh, now Mac, goes home! The sweet little Apple dumpling came to us from our friends . Longtime rockstar foster Brittany stepped in to show this little guy the ropes. Mac’s road to his forever happiness had quite a few speed bumps- this sweet guy dealt with major skin infections, an upper respiratory infection and more! Huge thank you to our vet, Dr Amy for donating her time and medication for treating Mac’s skin. In true pittie fashion, it never broke his amazing little spirit. Forever pawrents met Mac three weeks ago and were so in love that they had no problem waiting for him to be 100% healthy before welcoming him home. Here is the pup of the hour with forever pawrents Anthony and Aliana, four legged brother Hendricks, two legged brother Mason and two legged sister Veronica. Feline brother Jasper is waiting at home! Happy life Mac, we love you buddy!💙

Dove goes home! This cutie pie with her satellite dish ears came to us from our friends after being found as a stray.Dove spent the last 9 months with amazing first time fosters Stephanie and family. We just couldn’t figure out why it took her so long to find her forever family. This cutie even won the best ears contest at The Pet Rock Festival! They say everything happens for a reason, though, and that is definitely true! Sweet Dove was just holding out for the perfect forever pawrents! Angela and Michael lost their previous rescued pit bull Skippy of suspected cancer at age 13 about a year and a half ago. They knew they wanted to honor her memory by rescuing another soul in need but just weren’t ready. They followed Dove’s journey in the background for a bit, but eventually they knew they had to meet her. The rest is history! Here is the lady of the hour with her over the moon parents! Happiest of lives, sweet one! We love you! ❤

Bliss Now Remi goes home! This delicious little potato came to us from our friends after being rejected by mom at a young age. Remi and her siblings were bottle fed around the clock for 6 weeks by amazing (and tired 😴) Andrea and then fostered by incredible puppy fosters Jen and family. Remi learned the ways of the world and became just the sweetest little house potato. Forever pawrents Melissa and Adam have been searching for a sister for their boy Boone. They took one look at Remi’s sweet little face and were smitten. Here is the little lady of the hour with mom Melissa and two legged sister Kiera. Dad Adam, two legged brother Brendan and four legged brother Boone wait anxiously at home for her arrival! Happy life sweet girl, we love you!❤

Renny, now Zoey Grace goes home! This sweet, seal coated cutie came to us from our friends society after being surrendered from a home in less than ideal condition. Fostered first by amazing PLR foster Noah then by foster/adopter extraordinaire Cheryl, this baby definitely blossomed under their loving guidance. She was, understandably, slow to trust and open up given her past, but once she knew she was safe, all bets were off! This little lady developed quite the loving personality and in true pittie fashion, she holds no grudges from her past. Forever pawrents Jess and Jef are no strangers to PLR. Their beloved pittie Candy, the mom to one of our litters of puppies, passed away this year after a brave battle with aggressive cancer. What better way to honor such a special legacy than to open your heart to another soul in need! Here is the happy little lady with forever mom
and dad, Jess and Jef. We wish you the happiest of lives filled with nothing but love! We love you little Zoey ♥️

Idaho, now Willow, goes home! This sweet little potato came to us from our friends after she and her siblings had to be separated from mom at a young age. Amazing PLR foster Andrea jumped right in and fed these babies around the clock for 6 weeks! Once she was ready to venture out on her own, she found a loving foster home with Molly and family. There, sweet Willow learned to puppy! She discovered the joy of scoot-butt zoomies, cuddles, and mischief! Forever parents Amanda and Jon have been casually searching for a sister for their beloved pittie Maple. They heard Willows story, which is quite similar to their Maples, and were smitten! Here is the little lady of the hour with her proud forever pawrents. Maple is waiting anxiously at home. Happy little baby Willow, we love you! ❤

Cortland goes home! This bushel of puppy breath and sky blue eyes came to us from our friends . Fostered by brand new PLR fosters Lisa and Jim, this cutie didn’t have to wait long at all to find her forever family! Are we surprised, just look at that head tilt! Forever dad, Frank, knew he wanted another pittie to complete his family. He’s rescued pitties his entire adult life and is a staunch breed advocate. Cortland joins four legged brother Gilbert, who’s waiting anxiously at home for her arrival. Happy life sweet girl, we love you! ❤
