All is well at the kennel . . .
Our resident trainees are all doing well. Ruth & Booker are walking nicely on lead and can sit/stay for five minutes. Ottis can sit/stay for nearly 30 minutes and is doing extremely well off lead - he graduates Saturday. Max is learning to focus while training. Lolly is learning not to jump on people and walk on lead. Aja actually pointed one of the other dogs this week....promising sign for her as a pointing dog! Bodie is walking nicely on lead and sitting well. Cody & Ginger are bundles of joy and are doing everything fantastic on lead! Jasmine has transformed into a well behaved, obedient dog. Maisy is graduating Monday! Nice work ladies and gents!

Even though it has been superbly cold the last few days... -15 yesterday and 3 today . . . the dogs are all surviving! Everyone with the exception of Maisy wants to come quickly back indoors when being let out to go potty.

Training is going well for all in boot camp . . . Loki, Leo, Ottis & Shasta are all working off lead! Maisy is walking nicely on lead and can do sit stay for longer and longer periods of time.

Had a home visit with Athena today and she is doing well! Super proud of her and even more proud of her owners for being so committed!

Athena can now stay in "down" for over an hour! Finn was in a sit stay right next to her for 20 minutes . . . and lots going on to boot! An enthusiastic "Good Dog!" to both dogs - truly a pleasure working with each of them!

Super excited about Athena's progress as a service animal! I was able to teach her the down command in one training session - she is well on her way to being a great dog for her owner!
