He would like people around during the day as much as possible but his time spent alone could be built up gradually once he's found his rhythm.

Ivy can live with young adults (15+) and must be the only pet in the household but would be able to have doggy friends out on walks. She can be left for up to 2 hours a day whilst she is settling in to her new home but this can be built up to 3-4 hours . Ivy's forever home needs to be in a not too busy area with a secure garden with plenty of toys as she loves to run around and chase her tennis balls. Ivy can sometimes lack confidence with new people but soon becomes a lively character once she knows you and will love to show her new family how much she loves her training and the tricks that she knows.

Dancer can live with adults only (18+) who will be understanding and recognise when he is uncomfortable in a situation. He will need to be the only pet in the home, but would benefit from confident and well-socialised dog friends out and about on walks. He cannot be left home alone as he has shown separation related behaviours, although he is housetrained. Dancer will need a space in his new home where he can rest undisturbed by people and his new family must be willing to work alongside our training and behaviour team to help transition Dancer to his new home.

Are you right for Clifford?
Clifford can live with young adults (aged 15 years and over) but must be the only pet. He can be left by himself for a full working day with a break, once settled into the home and with some training support from his family. Clifford will need to wear a muzzle when in contact other dogs, however he is fully muzzled trained and will happily wear this when socialising with his dog friends. He has made some close dog pals here at the centre and would benefit from a family who are confident to continue his socialisation.

Is Clifford right for you?
5-year-old+ Clifford is a real gentle giant who has stolen the hearts of his carers! His favourite things in life are sunbathing, fetch and a quick cuddle before he's off on his next adventure! He loves a good sniff around and is generally a very easy-going dog, particularly in the home. Clifford is a smart chap and has a number of basic cues under his belt already and would certainly be up for learning more - for the right tasty treat, of course! He loves to play football in the garden and will bring you toys to encourage you to play fetch with him! His carers cannot praise him enough for how much of a lovely boy he is - a big dog with a big heart to match!

Billy can live with older children (aged 12 years and over) but no other pets. Once settled in the home he could build to being left up to 4hrs. He will require a garden with 6ft fencing, so that he can have the freedom to do zoomies to his heart's content!

Is Billy right for you?
4-year-old+ Billy is a sweet natured boy with lots of love to give - being a super friendly boy he's been very happy to meet everyone here at the centre! With a history of being an ex-racing greyhound, he does show a high chase drive, which means he can show frustration around other dogs and will, therefore, need further training in this area. However, he would benefit from further socialisation with other dogs of a similar size to himself. Billy loves his walks and taking in all the sights and smells on offer, however, once the adventures are done for the day, he is more than happy to be a coach potato curled up in front of the fire!
