I have found my forever home!! *ADOPTED!!!* I have found a wonderful forever home!! Hi! My name is Misty! I am a 3 year old Staffordshire Terrier. I love to play.

I'm a sweetie pie! I am with Rescue Ridge now, and I love the volunteers very much but I think it is time I find my own home! I am 40 lbs of love and energy! I was a princess in my old home, my daddy took great care of me! But he passed away, which is why I made new friends here at Rescue Ridge. I would do best as an only pet, and in a home with older children. Rescue Ridge is located in New Jerse

Sorry my mom hasn't been on much. I've been keeping her quite busy. You see, I'm a dog who is actually scared of her own shadow, among other things (noises, wind- especially when it makes tree branches move), so Mom has been giving me a lot of support and attention (my grandpop has too!). They think I'm adorable and a sweetheart.

In honor of Misty, we have decided to adopt another dog. No other animal ever can or will replace the love we have for Misty in our hearts. She was the last pittie that we could physically manage though, so we'll be looking to adopt a small breed dog (no more than 25 lbs).

I've always had a dog in my life for most of my life. What can I say? I love sharing my life with a dog.

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Misty has passed away today. She had an inoperable nasal tumor and, rather than make her suffer, I was lucky enough to find a veterinarian to perform an in-home euthanasia. She died peacefully lying on her favorite blanket, with her favorite toy in her mouth, and surrounded by her mom (me), her grandfather, and her favorite uncle, John. Thank you all for your years of support and caring.
