d will not de-matt a fully matted dogs coat...this is non negotiable as it is painful to the dog. This is different to removing the odd knot in the coat etc. Fully matted dogs will be clipped into a smooth clip to allow the coat to regrow and the skin underneath to recover. STARDUST DOG GROOMING will take NO RESPONSIBILITY for any skin conditions or skin damage hidden by a matted coat. Also please be aware that seriously matted coats can run the very rare risk of clipper nicks if skin is caught up in the matted coat...this is undertaken entirely at the owners risk and our professional expertise will be shown throughout the groom. You may be charged extra as seriously matted coats can take a long time to remove before bathing can begin. This is to protect every dog that comes in for grooming. If I find living fleas I will ring you to ask you to collect your dog and come back when the problem is sorted. Advice will be given. I will not groom any dogs that are known biters or to be aggressive. Some random enquirers for grooming only inform me after grooming that the dog has bitten every other groomer...please discuss any behaviour issues before you come as we can get around certain issues. Any dog with D&V must be 48 hours clear before coming for grooming. Your dog will be treated with one to one care and attention whilst with me. All dogs coming through my business will be treated with the care compassion and respect they have a birth right to. Thank You

Sad news for Stardust today. Louisa has just let me know that ALFIE has passed...Please hold a thought or send a prayer to Alfie's family and friends at this sad time. I always loved grooming Alfie, he was so full of zest for life and came from such a lovely family....I shall miss his visits and was honoured to be trusted to groom him all these years. Alfie you had personality plus...run free through Heaven's fields wee Braveheart...." just out of sight "
