Not as often as I'd like, do I get to see my puppies after they leave at 8+ weeks. Well, Zoe was one of them. She was out of the Ruby x Divot litter born in 2010. Steve and Cindy has always been very good at sending photos over the years. A couple months ago, I received an email saying could they stop mid June. Absolutely, and I looked forward to their visit with Zoe. June 19th they arrived with a beautiful bouquet, but mostly it was Zoe that I was so happy to see. As most are at this age (14 in August), moving slow, hard of hearing, maybe a little blurry eyed, but happy and remembering being here, Zoe made herself right at home. I forgot to take pictures before they left, so Steve sent some a couple days later. Little did we know that Zoe would leave us last week and those pictures and the visit made it so much more special. A reminder to me, that never expect tomorrow, but to love and enjoy every day that you given. Fox River Zoe Come Lately August 7, 2010 - June 27, 2024

My last brag is about Anwen's littermates and their owners. It gave me great pleasure to watch these puppies in the ring. Bryar - Fox River Honoring The Legacy - in the 9-12 month dogs class earned a 1st and a 3rd. Ria - Fox River Azaria - in the 9-12 month class earned a 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Also in this class, Seren - Fox River Sunshiney Day, earned 3 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd. Today she went RWB. So proud of all of them.

Saturday, at the Oshkosh Dog Show, my puppy Anwen's third show, she went Best of Breed over specials for her first points - a 3 point major - from the 9-12 month class - in spite of my rusty handling skills. SO proud of my daughter Amy! Her first novel was released on January 9th of this new year. She has gotten so many good reviews, but this one tops the list. Pick up a copy of her first novel NORTHWOODS. It is a good read, promise.

July 15th I welcomed The (Great Lakes) Island Litter. Tilly is a great Mom and I think we might just have puppies from both Dads. Polo and Baloo were both used in a dual-sired litter. DNA tests will tell who's who. All ten pups are doing well as is Tilly. I have 2 boys and 8 girls!
