Ahhhh as usual life has gotten in the way of me doing posts here…. Apologies in advance .
BUT check this out !
I often get asked how long Hoof Clay lasts for . I usually respond with a technical reply such as AGES.
Today a customer messaged me to say her Clay didn’t look like the pictures …. Turns out it was 4 years old ….
The honey in our Clay crystalises over time much like honey in a jar.
To bring back Clay I suggest to microwave 100g lump for 15 seconds then roll on a bit of baking paper for about 30 seconds….
So this lovely customer did exactly that …….
Here’s the before and after …. (No prizes for guessing which clay is the before lot LOL)

Oh dear I have gone and done it again… 🥹🥹🥹
not posted for AGES…. As Meta so gleefully reminds me …. 183 days this time - it’s got to be a record even for me.

To be honest, I was really struggling to know what even to post about… 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I was tempted to comment on how political hoof care seems to have become especially after seeing how a very generous and charitable hoof education person was treated by some people when one of her ponies came down with laminitis. 😳😳😳

Then I thought about posting about how depressing it is every time I see a post on one of the horse groups where people are still recommending bleach or chemical laden treatments for thrush….🙄🙄🙄

I didn’t decide on either of those because they were really negative.

Then out of the blue just like that I received a phone call from a long term customer who just randomly thought she would holler out and tell me how much she loves Good Gear Products and how well Stay Put Cream and Hoof Clay work for Thrush and Seedy Toe … how she always has both products on hand and how she recommends Good Gear to everyone . 🤩🤩🤩

And you know what, it was literally the best thing she could have done for me in this particular moment in time and space 💕💕💕

I often get messages from happy customers on Facey telling me of their success using my products

It always makes me happy to know I’m helping someone or that I’m helping someone’s horse .

That’s really what it’s all about for me .

So the moral of the story here I guess is …. If you have favourite products made by a small
business person and you have thought about sending them some nice feedback ….. DO IT 😉😉😉
