is an app that helps you find safe spaces for your dogs to play! My yard is very tiny, so my dogs can’t really stretch their legs, and I hate dog parks. I found a Sniffspot location within a few miles of my home and the pups just love it! Totally worth the price to let my pups run and not worry about other dogs and any diseases they might carry!

Just a friendly reminder as we head into summer...

Be aware of the temperature on the ground, as well as the air, when you think about taking your pups out for a walk. Test the ground yourself by standing on the concrete and asphalt in bare feet, without moving, for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pup!

Also, take into consideration the breed of your dog(s). Some dogs are more susceptible to heat exhaustion/stroke than others, for example, brachycephalic breeds (those with short snouts). Read this for some tips regarding summer care for your short-snouted pups.

I was mixing up an essential oil blend for River to help support the release of his anxious feelings when I leave the house.
It contains Patchouli...I huffed the bottle before adding to the blend, accidentally touching the edge of the bottle under my nose.
I'm going to be smelling Patchouli all day long! Lol!

Coyote attacks on furry companions are becoming a great concern in SoCal.

Let it be known that the threat of wild animals has always been prevalent in our area, but I personally believe that people are more lax with their companions these days than they used to be.

Please, keep your feline companions inside where they are safe, and when you let your canine companions out to do their business, not only go with them, but provide them with protection!

I'm not too concerned about my 55lb dog, and her 40lb companion, but a 10lb dog is easy prey.

Watch out for your fair skinned pups in the hot summer months.

My girl Millie loves the sun. I thought nothing of it these past couple of weeks...the temps haven’t been that hot...yet.

She was out sunbathing and got sunburn on her nose, head, and the inside of her ears.

Dog door is now closed during the heat of the day. I’m sorry I didn’t protect you from this, Millie. 😢
