BREEDING PROGRAM

Here at Painted Hills, our dogs are more than pets or a hobby. Our dogs are family, and are treated as such. For this reason, new homes are carefully selected and will receive a lifetime of support. We love to see and encourage updates on puppies from their new family members after they leave our care.

Our samoyeds are raised in home and in accordance to the Puppy Culture program in order to give them the best possible start to their lives. We focus on early neurological stimulation to produce happy, confident canines. We encourage puppy owners to continue on with this program and contact us with any questions even after their bundles of fur have come home. Our samoyeds are raised holistically and as naturally as possible, This means limiting (NOT ELIMINATING) harmful vaccinations and receiving a biologically appropriate whole food raw diet. However, we do recognize this method may not be for everyone. For those who wish to stick to kibble, weaned puppies will get a mix of a raw food diet along with increasing amounts of Farmina to make the transition easier on the stomach. We are very picky about what goes into our dogs because nutrition is everything when it comes to total health. Homes familiar and willing to continue with the more natural approach will be prioritized. However this does not mean that we don't accept conventional owners as well.
