A few months ago I started finding blood in the litter box and little droplets of blood on the floor outside the litter box. Willow even sometimes had drops on her fur. She had an ultrasound at the end of April that showed thickening in the GI tract with a split layering pattern. Two common causes are inflammatory bowel disease or small cell lymphoma. We redid the ultrasound again this week and the changes were still present so we decided to proceed with an exploratory surgery on her abdomen and took biopsies. Should have the histopathology results in a few weeks! Until then she’s happily recovering at home wearing this cute surgery body suit. I will always do what is best for her. ❤️ She’s been loving the extra cuddles, treats, and attention!💕
