Over the past fifteen years I have been fortunate enough to work for, work with and have the opportunity to learn from some remarkable horseman and woman. From this, I have been able to impliment all of this experience into a method and technique that achieves remarkable results in a very short period of time.
Working on the following simple principles;
*What we can do with little effort is control the territory in which the horse is in. When we can establish a hierarchy within this territory the horses willingness, understanding and cooperation are fare more than with any halter or lead in the initial stages of training.
*When we give the horse an honest and true opportunity of being with us, he will be with us anyway. Only needing understanding, no ropes, no force. When we do not restrict his right to freedom and instead give him the opportunity to learn the results are truly amazing. If we can suggest to him what he should be doing and reward that, and discourage behaviour we do not desire in a way that does not cause conflict or confrintation, than he can learn with a full understanding of what is being asked of him.
