Some horses teach us lessons the hard way. I can now admit that I’m not a ratey/ cow horse person, but I am someone who tries their heart out and isn’t afraid to let go when recognizing that something won’t fit. 😊

“Storm” is being offered for sale. She will finish out to be a top caliber 1D horse, and winning 🥇. She is insanely athletic, powerful and talented. She stands roughly 15.3 and is built like an absolute tank. Looks and brains don’t come together this often. She will take care of her rider in every situation and has a very sound mind. She has the kindness and gentlest disposition out of any mare I’ve ever met. She is running the barrels and is ready to go on with a new rider due to the fact that I cannot seem to click with the typical stiff and snappy turning style that comes with this set of papers. This makes her extremely fast and power out of her barrels unlike any horse I’ve seen. She will leave you in the dust if you don’t hang on! I love everything about her, I just can’t click with that style.

If you’re looking for something to take you to the winners circle, here’s your horse. I’ve been told by multiple people this horse could win the NFR. She’s not a joke, she’s not for kids and she’s not a grandmas horse. She’s a fire breathing dragon that has more integrity than most humans. She will give you her heart 300%. After one year of owning her I have won 4 races with limited hauling and so much more to give. She had a stellar futurity year. Her derby year with me as her new owner gave even more potential wonder to what she has in store for the future.

She stands roughly 15.3, no bad habits like kicking, biting, bucking, rearing etc. She is excited at the gate but nothing dangerous. She’s an easy keeper. Stands for the Ferrier. She will need maintenance as all top caliber barrel horses do- so if you’re concerned by that then please do not inquire. She has been treated like a queen and I expect nothing less from her new owner.

💥 Not cheap and not a joke. I have plenty of videos, references and stats for extremely serious interest. Proof of funds will be required before any test rides. Vet checks welcome.

One of the biggest myths in horsemanship is: “I’m not a trainer–I just ride my own horses.”

Everyone who deals with horses is a trainer. I repeat: EVERYONE.

Training can be defined as "influencing action." If you are interacting with a horse in any capacity, you are influencing that animal to take an action.

Every interaction you have with a horse either creates or reinforces positive or negative actions.

You don’t even have to saddle the horse to have an influence on that animal. Even stepping in the pen to catch your horse presents a training opportunity. Your presence and energy alone can influence that horse’s behavior.

Having the awareness of how much influence you have over a horse is one of the most important truths to acknowledge in your horsemanship journey.

This is a truth that can work for you or against you. Make it work in your favor.
