Another sponsored item that is used on our horses is our splint boots! Each of us got a full set of maroon splint boots to match our hats! Matching splint boots not only look good but help protect our horses legs!

On July 29th Jaelin had the opportunity to attend the Kit Carson County royalty luncheon and PRCA Rodeo. Jaelin had a great day spending time with the other royalty girls and getting to participate in and watch the rodeo!

On July 19th and 20th Jaelin attended the Cheyenne County Tumbleweed Fair!

On Friday, I attended the PRCA Rodeo where I assisted in carrying their rodeo sponsor flags and got to do a hot lap.

On Saturday, I attended the parade, royalty luncheon, and PRCA Rodeo where I again got to carry their sponsor flags and do a hot lap. Their concert was after the rodeo and Sean Stemaly put on a great show. We got to meet him and his band before the rodeo performance!

Overall it was a great weekend and I was thankful for the opportunity to get to go assist the Cheyenne County Royalty while our other 3 girls were representing us in a different state!

On July 19th and 20th Aspen, Hailey, and Harper took on the "Daddy of em' All" in Cheyenne Wyoming! The girls had so much fun at Cheyenne Frontier Days!

On Friday they attended the royalty brunch where they got to meet royalty from all over!
On Saturday they got to ride on a royalty trailer in the parade!

When not doing royalty duties they got to do lots of other fun activities!

On Monday the 22nd, we had the opportunity to talk on the radio with Ty Harmon at KVAY! We are thankful to have this opportunity to get to share a little bit about ourselves, promote our royalty program, and more importantly promote our amazing fair and rodeo that is just around the corner!

Fair week is getting closer and so is our royalty pageant! Please repost to get the word out to anyone who is interested in becoming a part of our royalty program!

Also, there has been a recent rule change that states that you no longer have to be a resident of Prowers County to be a part of the Sand & Sage Round-Up Royalty! Any girls interested in this program that can meet the requirements are free to try out! Please contact Katy DeWitt or Natalie Stecklein, Coordinators, for more information and to get entry papers and study guides!

As we all know times get busy so here is a big update post of what your 2024 Sand & Sage Roundup Royalty has been up to so far this summer!

The first event update is Lamar Days which was on May 18th. During Lamar Days Jaelin, Hailey, and Harper rode in the parade and threw out candy. We then walked around the park and got to talk with people from the community!

The second event update is Granada-Bristol Days which was on June 15th. Jaelin went to Granada-Bristol days and had the opportunity to ride in the parade! A fun fact about this parade is thatJaelin rode Daisy and she was the ONLY horse!

The third event update is Wiley Hay Days which was June 29th. Jaelin, Aspen, Hailey, and Harper all rode in the parade! This was our first parade that all four of us were able to make it to and we had so much fun!

We have been having so much fun with our busy summer and look forward to the events we have coming up in the near future!
