Several years ago we met a little girl that peed on one of our shoes so we had to have her. Her name is Coco. We decided right away that because collars are dangerous to dogs, especially small dogs, that we would not use them. We got sick and tired of all the ugly and expensive harnesses available so we decided to start making our own. Our philosophy is that if a dog is going to wear something it
should at least be attractive. One day we walked into a pet store and the pet store owner liked the outfits so much that she asked us to make them for her store, and that is how Coco’s Canine Creations got started. The purpose of this page is to help us communicate with current and future customers about what they would like to have available and to let people know what we can and can not make. For starters we can not make anything for a dog whose chest is over 20 inches because that would require buckles and hardware. We also will not make fake service dog vests or harnesses because too many people are abusing the laws which will only end up making things harder for those who actually have legitimate service dogs. We also don’t want to use ruffles and bows. We are making functional dog clothes not costumes. If you wouldn’t wear it or be seen with a person wearing it then you shouldn’t put your dog in it. If at anytime you see something you would like to buy please send us a private message. Thank you.
