On Christmas Eve, Emma and I took Daisy to Rainbow Equine Hospital in Malton to see the surgeon and have x-rays. Daisy had some anti inflammatory injections and after two weeks can start exercising to build muscle again and commence with the physio.
Daisy really is the most perfect therapy pony, but for now she is enjoying a quieter life with her new best friend Nuggie.

We couldn’t resist doing an extra visit to see Mel and Trevor. We have done so many Christmas visits but I have to say I am in awe of this couple. Despite having no sight they are an insperation. Yesterday little Nuggie got clipped as we needed to see what was going on underneath all that hair. He is looking so well now and he is due to have all his bloods done in the new year. Well its finally happened! We exchanged contracts on Friday and complete tonorrow. It’s been a hectic weekend of moving and cleaning! 22 years this has been our family home, and trying to move everything to living in caravans has certainly been a challenge and is utter chaos at the monent!

An absolutely beautiful visit to Riverhead Hall in Driffield. My favourite part of this visit was how a member of staff looked adoringly at one of the residents getting so much joy from interacting with little Buttercup.
