Rudy

He was found as a stray in Florida back in January.
In the only County that mandates a 4-month long quarantine for dogs that are found with „wounds of unknown origin“ and their rabies titer test coming back negative, meaning they‘ve never gotten a rabies vaccine. And unfortunately Rudy met all these criteria and has been in quarantine since end of January.
But he was lucky and found a wonderful rescue who took him under their wings. Rudy will be breaking out of his quarantine jail in a few days and start a new life.

UPDATE 05/07:
We were informed that unfortunately Negrita has been given away by her owner… 💔
We can only hope that at least it won‘t get worse for her…
We‘re so sorry Negrita… We tried…

We are still DESPERATELY looking for a foster for Negrita so we can get her out of her deplorable living situation!!!

PLEASE someone open their home for her…
She is good with other dogs. We don‘t know about cats.
Hamburg Mutts for Freedom has offered to help BUT WE NEED A FOSTER!!!
It‘s getting really hot and humid in Florida in a couple weeks and she‘ll be outside 24/7… Little protection from the storms that happen EVERY afternoon in the summertime in FL… NO protection from the heat…
Please help us so we can help this sweet little girl!!!

Today we need our WNY peeps to step up for Negrita!

We are happy to announce that we have Hamburg Mutts for Freedom on board! They are willing to take Negrita under their wings BUT we need to find a foster first!
So PLEASE someone open their heart and home for Negrita! We would love to get her out of that scrapyard in Florida before it gets really hot and humid down there!

Drumroll please!!!

This handsome lady is Bean.
She is Rambo’s daughter.

I reconnected with Bean’s Mom yesterday after almost five years. She sent me some photos and I totally lost it when I saw how much Bean and Rambo look alike. This morning Bean’s Mom and I were texting back and forth talking about Bean and Rambo and we found SO MANY similarities that it is almost scary!
I went through a rollercoaster of emotions seeing Bean being so much alike her Dad but I am overjoyed to have found Bean and her family again because it gives me great comfort to see that our sweet boy lives on in his wonderful daughter.
I am very much looking forward to much more chitchatting to come with Bean’s Mom and maybe one day we get to meet in person…

Rambi we miss you beyond words…
