We later swapped over, I mounted Raf from the ground and no rearing again just sped off as I was half on! 😂 We'll work on the whole standing when mounting. Suzie took Joe no problem considering she's only about 13.2hh approx. Joe couldn't fit his feet into my stirrups because I have tiny feet so I use all children's stuff lol. Excellent little horses today overall.
Suzie and Raf. Raf had some issues when mounting, he ended up rearing and trying to just run off straight away. Something to work on as he did stand after a dismount and second attempt but just can't stand still. He is very very forward going. Suzie was fab a bit tense when first starting out then soon settled after a couple strides and thoroughly enjoys her work. Really like these two so far. My partner Joe is riding Raf. P x
This is how quiet and laid back Bili is.
Lassy trotting
Sorry about my Arab. She does annoy me sometimes with her ruddy spooking but that didn't bother Lassy one jot.
Lassy: Warmblood in the field doing her best to set her off
Off she goes leaving me behind and not giving a damn about the idiot Ruby chucking herself about in the field.
Lassy : Setting off....without me!
No compunctions about a new area..............
Lassy's ride out with us (for sale)
This is the first and only time Lassy has been ridden out with us. We had hoped to sort out her issues regarding lifting her legs by now. I will add that we had no idea she had this problem. She was difficult to catch for the first week so when we did catch her (which we can easily do now) we thought she would come around. We have no stables to work on her hence the need to sell her. She is a lovely big mare and will make someone very happy as she is quiet as a lamb out hacking. We did want to take her hunting. She has an album on here.
Fine to approach now and especially for P as she sees her more than i do but Satin leading her off wasn't helpful.
Clawton 9 mile fun ride - 22nd July 2018
Milly on her first fun ride with us and she was a star.
There is a public album on my timeline for people to see this ride and how fabulous Milly is. I've tagged myself so you can find me (Alison Talbot)
