Hey everyone! This coming Saturday, November 23rd, we will be attending the "Snow Ball" ferret show in Lancaster, PA! We will be showing our adoptable trio of ferrets, "Monkey, Sausage and Fizzgig". The shows are lots of fun, and you get to see what privately bred ferrets look like (and smell like lol).
THere will also be an education session for new ferret owners. Come join the fun! Raffles, contests, and judging classes. Shown here are the trio of adoptables! For more information about the show, head over to

Gizmo came to us only a short time ago! A beautiful and sweet, playful sable girl, one of my adopters who was boarding his other ferrets with me, came to pick up his ferrets and immediately fell in love with Gizmo (now "Greta").
Her ADV test has just came back negative and our long time repeat adopter took her home!
Greta joins his business including Kris, Elsa and Flynn. SHe is doing great in her new home!
Congratulations!

Next up on the recent adoption front is beautiful and sweet as can be Jasmine! This beautiful girl was spotted on craigslist as a "needs to be gone today" type of ad. . It just so happened that a friend of ours, and previous ferret owner, Kelly was in the area at the time and picked up Jasmine for us. She brought her back home and bathed her, removed a few fleas, and kept an eye on her until we could run over there and bring her back to the rescue. We knew immediately that this girl was special. She loved to give kisses and be picked up and held. She got her vaccines and vet checks, and was adopted by Khristina and family. Khristina is an experienced ferrets owner and was the one who spotted Jasmine on craigslist and did the negotiating with the owner.
Khristina also has another ferret named Sid, who suffers from a terrible disease called DIM, which affects very young ferrets.
The family has fallen in love with Jasmine and sends lots of wonderful and heartwarming updates!

We have had several wonderful adoptions lately, and I have been remiss in keeping our ferret fans updated!
First let me showcase our long time friend and adopter Denise, who adopted Maverick, a handsome sable boy who came to us locally. He got in a bit of trouble with his owner because, being a predator, he kind of assassinated some other pets of hers. I am not going to get into detail, but suffice it to say, ferrets generally should NOT be kept in close proximity to prey animals, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, or pet birds.
But Maverick was just being a ferret and did not mean to cause such harm and grief.
It turns out this boy was so sweet, and ready for his new forever home with ferret friends.
Congratulate Maverick for joining Denise and her current business of ferrets!
Pictured here is Denise with Maverick's stand in "Monkey", who resembles Maverick, and was available for the photo shoot!
