While I could say I turned my back and here they are, these were planned. Trying to decide who to breed Eve to for her final litter was answered when Edge was here at shearing. With Edge and his accomplishments it was hard to pass up a chance. One tie, was all and she was still in standing heat for days later. I assumed she did not take. At the time I was ok with that, as after the tie, Leena had 11 pups. She was obviously bred and decided to "Bless" us with 9 pups. 8 females and a lone male

Eve is a handy ranch dog, her main fault being not liking to work in tight spots. She is OFA Normal Shoulders and Elbows, OFA pre lim Good hips, DNA carrier for CEA and Normal for all else.

Slash J Edge is a super nice dog with an already impressive trial record as well as being a ranch dog. He is still just a 2 year old. He is DNA Normal by parentage. Edge had his hips and shoulders x rayed and everything looks great.

He was bred by Joni Tietjen, born at King’s View Ranch and trained and ran by Joni. He has now returned to the ranch he was born on and continues to do well with Lerrina in trials. I was impressed with him here on the ranch at shearing. He acted like hundreds were no different than a few and I never seen him lose his cool.

We will not be allowing anyone to choose pups before CEA testing is back and I can determine coat. We have several females spoken for as well as the male at this time. There is room for a few more female spots.

Busy day for the pups yesterday, well busy few days actually. They are now with their new families. No name female 4, with her new family, Sukey(Turner/Gwen) and Luke(Nap/Meg), no name male puppy 3 with his new family, Dot(Deets/Nell) and last but not least no name male 4 with his new family. We wish you all the best with your new pups. Sorry it was so chaotic meeting up. Forgot Alyce who actually left two days earlier because she couldn’t wait to meet her new family.

95 when the first group of ewes and lambs went into the corrals. I believe we were all hot and tired but ready to dock our first group.

It’s docking week so sheep are getting moved around to where they need to be. Of course today is the hottest day of this year, but it has to be done. We have no control over the weather.

The puppies are worn out and it will take me awhile to get through the photos. From no visitors to 7 kids in one afternoon, they took it in stride like they have everything.
