These gorgeous dogs have gone from grimy prison floors and cold outdoor living conditions to looking like the diva’s they’re supposed to be! What does it take for that to happen?? A village! Fosters! A community that cares!

Loading for transport has started! Poor black lab is sad but little does she know that it is her freedom ride!
Shelters down south do not have funds for new crates and supplies! but they have big hearts! This is why we ask for donations! Have a good trip on your freedom ride!

Our work never ends! These two are at a very high kill facility in Southern Illinois! At one point they were owned by someone. The little boy is neutered and 2 years old and only 20 lbs. The gorgeous girl is amazing!
Can anyone foster? They are urgent!

To the foster family that is taking in Frederick! Just an animal control facility dog in an overcrowded rural facility, wherethey made a choice not to euthanize him but to save him by spending time and funds on his surgery! He is a great dog!
To the family that is fostering him! You are beyond amazing people! great way to teach your children as well that fostering saves lives! and most important he is just a happy dog not a pure breed not fluffy and not a doodle! You are AMAZING!

Did we say? Teachers rule in every way!
So much work went into this crucial transport of animals! Fosters ...came through last minute! and most are our adopters! Did you know that you are special humans? beyond special!
While we are happy we have rescued many dogs this time, we have left some adults behind that will need to be in boarding and will need to come on the next transport!

Last minutes saves and sponsorships are appreciated! Gas van maintenance supplies medical ...goes into this timely effort!

Starburst is at an animal control facility in Illinois. He is a young labrador neutered great with everyone he meets. This animal control facility does euthanize!
Foster home needed!


Boarding is his other option which is very costly! You see high adoption fees from other rescues? Starting at 750?
Our adoption fees have stayed the same! but we need donations for the supplies and boarding if we need to board!

The cocker spaniels found a foster home together! Great news for the foster family that stepped up for this bonded pair.

Frederick is still in need for a foster. Being three legged does not slow him down. He walks well on a leash and he is a great dog. Let s not let this lab hound mix young boy be part of the bad system.

You cannot foster a saved dog?
You can help in other ways! Transporting our rescue dogs costs thousands before even adopting them out!
Volunteers time to evaluate these dogs - about 4hx15 dollars per hour
Posting to rescues that have room 4hx15 dollars per hour
Making vet appointments 1hx15 dollars per hour
Transporting to the vet Gas and time 100 dollars
Finding temporary fosters until transport 2hx15 dollars
Getting them ready for transport 4hx15 dollars
Getting crates for the van Crates 30 crates 1500 dollars
Meeting the van and setting up crates 4hx15 dollars
Providing food and supplies to the temporary fosters 1000 dollars
Paying transporters to drive from Ark to Minnesota and 600 Wisconsin...then repeat for the receiving rescue! plus the cost of spaying and neutering, and other medical! We even saved a dog with cancer(treatable) and a three legged dog!
Cost? Thousands before even adopting them out
