November is National Pet Cancer Awareness Month. Cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death for domestic dogs and cats in the U.S.

Sadly, we lost our beloved Jonas to lymphoma this month. He was the sweetest boy, as long as you weren't a squirrel. Loved to swim, and play cat and mouse with his favorite ball and sister, Arwen. He will be deeply missed.

Ways to observe pet cancer awareness month:
1. Take your pet to the vet for a cancer screening
2. Educate yourself on pet cancers through resources like the Animal Cancer Foundation
2. Donate to a pet cancer care institution
3. Spread the word to your friends and family about pet cancer awareness
