Adoption criteria -
You are home for most of the day or can provide for less than 3-4 hours alone time for the dog.
Have a secure garden preferably with an area of lawn.
Have read and understood the two notes on our pinned post (Thinking of Adopting a Rescue Dog, and Frequently Asked Questions).
We ask for a minimum adoption donation of £550.
Understand that by adopting a dog, you make a commitment to providing for the welfare of the dog for its lifetime (both physical and mental well-being).
Note we do not normally adopt dogs to homes with children under 8-10 years old.

Please be patient if you do apply, we are all volunteers and will reply as soon as we can.
🛑 Please note as of Friday 14.04.2022, the U.K. government for England has temporarily suspended the commercial import of dogs, cats and ferrets if they originate from or have been dispatched from Ukraine, Belarus, Poland or Romania, until 14 May 2022.
🛑 As we route the Romanian dogs we help rehome via kennels in the U.K. before coming on to Guernsey, this means we don’t know as yet when these dogs will be able to travel here, however we would still love to find adopters ready for when they are allowed to travel.

⭐️ Baxter - adopted ⭐️
This lovely young lad is Baxter who had a poor start in life. He was found in October last year with a band embedded around his neck, put on as a puppy which got too tight as he grew and literally cut in to his neck causing a horrible deep infected wound 😢
We’d like to find him a home in Guernsey but first he needs some disease tests to see if he can travel here.
We’re looking to raise £100 for these, so if anyone would like to donate to help him, we’d be very grateful 😊

⭐️ Ruby - transferred to Dogs 4 Rescue ⭐️
Luana the vet in Romania found this beautiful young girl in danger on the busy streets on Tuesday, so we’ve called her Ruby. She’s only young, 1-2 years old, approximately 10kg and 35cm high. She’s a real sweetheart 💖

Do you remember the scared, emaciated and nearly bald dog we shared on the 12th March?
The vet in Romania had taken him in after being told of his whereabouts.
A couple of weeks on and he’s gaining weight and confidence, even starting to look a happy boy.
Rescue work at its best 😍

❤️ The sweetest Mum - adopted ❤️
With all the puppy cuteness going on we don’t want their beautiful mum being forgotten.
She is such the sweetest little lady 🥰

This is the first video we saw on the 7th February of the Mum and her 3 pups, abandoned in an industrial yard, in danger of being run over. Suffering from skin issues, parasites and likely malnutrition, their future was bleak 😢
Thankfully saved by the vet that does the neutering campaigns we support, together with the donations our supporters have sent, is helping transform their lives 😍
