Happy Hooves and Hens We have a small herd of nigerian dwarf goats that we raise. We use the surplus milk to make soap.

A family run backyard farm of Nigerian Dwarf Goats and a multitude of different chickens. We make homemade goat milk soap, containing all natural ingredients and essential oils.

We’re getting excited! Kidding season 2025 will be here before we know it! Chocolatina, (aka Tina) who is our beloved herd Queen Mocha’s daughter, will be a first freshener. Her ultrasound with the vet showed at least twins. This is our first year using Batman as a buck. He is from our doe Felicity a few years ago. He has matured into quite the handsome man!

Seriously, goats excel at clearing brush! They won't eat you grass, but all your bushes, poison ivy, brush, and falling leaves they will devour!

Don't have a grapefruit spoon, easiest way is to find one at your local thrift shop.

The 3rd soap savor is a luffa bag. We have 2 different types . One is sisal and other is like the poofy loofah.
Both give a gentle exfoliation .
Both hang to dry which prolongs the life of the soap, and minimizes the drips.

If you are a liquid soap loofah person. The loofah bag with goat milk soap might convert you! Your skin will thank you!

Our 2nd type of soap saver.
This is a soft and flexible mat that can be cut easily to fit any dish.
It work by lifting the soap out of the water and allows more airflow which helps the soap dry in-between uses. It also catches the soap drips in your shower.

Aren't these cedar plank soap saver dishes the cutest?
The biggest reason that people tell me they don't like bar soap is " the mess".
Nobody likes wet gooey soap slime least of all the soap!
Keeping your soap dry between uses helps minimize "the mess" and it prolongs the soaps life.

I will be highlighting some different choices that will help solve this problem. Then, I will post a poll for you to guess my favorite! The person that guesses the correct answer first will win one of those and a bar of soap. So follow along please.
