In need of dog food again! I just opened our last 50lb bag.

We can also do a pick up at our local Tractor Supply in Cleveland, TN.
Here's two of our fosters saying hello, well one is dreaming hello. Sandy and Dolly. Sandy was dumped on us 2 years ago with her littermates. She has had a couple of potential adopters that were flaked and backed out.
Dolly is the girl we saved from a flea market vendor that had her in an opossum trap.
Both are great girls, but as we know adoptions are at a low and most of us are saturated with dogs

Unfortunately we don't get a lot of activity from our posts.
We have a lot of followers, but things have slowed down on FB, if you don't Boost your posts, they are hardly seen.

Please consider helping us with some dog food? We aren't picky on brands. I'm including the Amazon Wish list, but food is our top priority.
We have 9 fosters at this time.

Bonded sisters needing immediately placement. They are currently located in New Windsor, NY. Transportation possible.

"Yea we are still in new Windsor Ny , yes I have tons of pictures no aggressions , kenneling they are fine , they love to be together, very playful very very playful. Pottying is ok , they have gotten better at alarming us when they need to go , they LOVE being outside. Strangers they have zero zero issues with strangers. It’s more of there are jumpers , as in they see a new face and want to lick them to death of just pure happiness"
"Cats they have no issues with , they honestly don’t even pay any attention to them. They just love to run , and play right almost all day. Very active dogs."
They are spayed and under two years old.
Great with kids. In a home around an infant/toddler.

Tristen was dumped at a local church and found by a friend. He was thin with ribs showing, but has since filled out.
He is so sweet and just wants to cuddle and be with his person. He doesn’t want to be outside long and wants to be inside. He is quite the couch potato. He is 4 1/2 months old according to the vet. The vet thinks he is hound and Great Dane mix and will be 80-100lbs.
He does great with other dogs. Men make him nervous and we think he was abused by one.
He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations.

Meet Maggie Moo Moo! She is apx 9 months old. We aren't completely sure of her breed mix, but we believe she is Retriever and a type of Bully mix. She is a stout girl.
Maggie is looking for the perfect home where they can accept her energy and love for life. She is a very active and strong girl. She woukd do wonderful in a home where she could run and play in a large yard or go on long walks with her humans.
Because Maggie is so strong and active, we are looking for a home with no small children. We also feel that Maggie would enjoy being the only dog or with larger dogs and proper introductions.
She can be headstrong and has a lot of learning to accomplish.
Maggie is very smart and would excel with proper training. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Time for me to beg for dog food again! We had a lot of folks send us dog food last month. We made it last for a while! We are down to one 40 lb bag now.
We have fosters that are hard to place and all adults, besides two 9 month old pups. We have been unable to take in additional ones for months due to these pooches taking a lot of work and time.

Surprisingly we are still seeing fleas due to the fluctuating weather. We are in need of 2 boxes of the Advantage XL dog (I combine it and use a syringe to dispense it accordingly).
I'm seeing it on sale for Cyber Monday.

As many of you know, we always used the Victor brand dog food for our fosters. ALL Victor was recalled and that has left us in a very bad place.
We are scraping by trying to feed everyone after such a loss. I am adding a Amazon wishlist with a new brand, in hopes that we can get some donations to help with the cost of feeding. The wishlist will be in the comments below.

We just rescued this girl at Big Ds flea market in Dalton, GA. The guy wanted $100. It was either pay or fight :(
Included, is the opossum trap she was stuffed in.

On Thursday, Brownie took a turn for the worst. She was in pain and there was really no way to alleviate it. After a long council with the vet, we all decided that the best thing for brownie was to let her go in peace. We are Heartbroken and miss her dearly. We thank everyone for their prayers and support. Thank you for helping with Thursday's vet bill. We still have an outstanding bill with care credit for the first 2 visits, but hopefully we can raise some more money in the meantime.
Hold your babies close and give them all the love that you can, is. We never know what tomorrow will bring.
RiP sweet soul.

Brownie update!

Yesterday, Brownie Had her second vet visit and the outlook was grim. She was still unable to walk. We verbally made the decision That if there was no improvement in 5 days we would Make that onr decision that we all don't want to make. She gave her a prescription for prednisone. I gave her 1 at 5 o'clock yesterday period Here are some of the results so far.... she is walking!

Who is looking for a handsome Chocolate Lab mix? Rebel was dumped on our property about two month ago. He is a great dog with a lot of energy! He would love an active family and partake in outdoor activities. Rebel is heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date with all of his vaccinations.
