Buddy Dog - The Brave Rescue Staffy! Rescued from certain death, with love and care this brave little dog survived. This is my best friend Buddy.

I found buddy abandoned and locked in a cage. Buddy was laying in his own mess and was extremely under weight., he weighed just 3 kgs. Buddy had a serious skin condition called dermodectic mange and due to him not being treated and also being left in his own mess he also had secondary infections in his skin. Buddy's paw pads were raw due to the amount of urine he had been left in. I drove him 86 m

iles to my vets checking that Buddy was alive constantly along the way as i wasn't sure he was going to make it. The vet thought that Buddy had no chance of survival but I wanted to try.....
After lots of love and care and lots of vet visits my little boy pulled through. Buddy's skin will never fully recover due to so much neglect but with a special diet, Advocate and coatex shampoo we can manage, he now weighs 18kgs and is my best friend, he loves everyone and everything. People and animals are his best friends. A lot of people say how lucky Buddy dog is that I found him but really I think I am the lucky one as I found my best friend that day. Buddy's favourite things are cuddling up on the sofa, playing frisbee, walking with some of his favourite 4 legged friends and going for outings in the car (I'm convinced his love of the car comes from the very first day I took him from that horrible place, The car was his transport to a pain free life). I am determined to give Buddy the best life possible to make up for all the pain and neglect he suffered. He has climbed 2 of the 3 highest mountains in England, he enjoys his holidays at the seaside with friends both 2 legged and 4. We are off to Norfolk this year with 11 of his 4 legged friends x Buddy holds no grudges against people even though a person was to blame for all of his pain. He is a happy chap and smiles everyday. Buddy is a social little boy and loves life. He is so in tune with people and even knew when my grans sugars were low and would make a fuss till she had taken her medication . Buddy knows when people are upset and will try to comfort them. I can not tell you how much I love my little boy # #

What an amazing day today we went to Carlton Country Park to support a local dog show raising money for Cransley Hospice Trust. A lovely friendly show, where Ludo Lovely Long Dog was made to feel very welcome and he was such a super boy! Very relaxed and 1 reaction all day 😁😁😁 LLLD won Handsome Dog, 2nd in Appealing Eyes, 2nd in Biggest Achievement and 4th in Judges choice. RBIS was awarded to my beautiful boy ❤️🏆

The most beautiful part of the day was the memorial class held in memory of an amazing lady Alison Spence who very sadly passed away 7years ago, whilst we were waiting for the judge to come round a white feather 🪶 fell down straight into the centre of the ring (I believe white feathers are a sign loved ones are near) LLLD won this beautiful class and as we were collecting our things to go home, a white feather 🪶 fell into my prize bag, I’m sure it was a sign ❤️❤️

Today me, Toby and Ludo headed to T's Coffee Pitsford for ’s Dog Fest. We spent a lovely day with Bonnie, Jason and Molly. Ludo was such a good boy, a couple of reactions from him, but considering how busy it was. He did absolutely amazing 🤩 Toby and Ludo came 1st in Child Handler and Ludo came 1st in Rescue and 1st in Perfectly Imperfect , then to top it off LLLD won BIS 🏆 ⭐️ it was a super busy show! Ludo stole the hearts 💕 of so many people.

Another great training session this morning for LLLD! All the hard work and training 3 times a week is paying off. Last weekend me and Ludo went off to Norfolk for the weekend to All About Dogs Show. It was an unbelievably busy weekend with lots of people and lots of dogs. Ludo managed well and really enjoyed his weekend away. We had a couple of reactions on both days, but he was mostly relaxed, comfortable and even managed to bag himself a 1st in Rescue, 5th in Handsome Dog, and 1st in family with Willow, Riley and Atlas, the classes were huge! Then to our total amazement they went on to win reserve best in show as a family on the Saturday. We met some amazing people and had a lovely time ❤️ having a reactive dog is hard work, but those little wins are so worth all the hard work ❤️

Dog training today took us on a lovely walk around a local park, and a stop at a coffee shop. Another really positive experience for LLLD ❤️
