We would like to wish all our followers a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Apologies, as this greeting is slightly late, the main reason being that Poppy developed a bout of gut stasis on Christmas morning 😱 We had to break off from food preparation and give medication and tummy massages for a couple of hours but thankfully she rallied and was fine again by early afternoon! I honestly thought we’d have to end up at the vets! £££££s!! She is fine now and has had a new pop up tent, a new sea grass house and some tasty forage for Christmas! We also are remembering our lovely Parmo who left us in July 🌈 Our first Christmas without him 😔. Sending love to you and your loved ones 🐰🎁🎄🎅.

Poppy, also known as Poppy two bowls, seen here eating her tea and her breakfast at the same time, would like to wish you a wonderful weekend! She has her paw holding both bowls to stop anyone from removing them before she’s finished! We had a vet check up this week and her weight is stable, teeth fine and everything in good order! She remains a joy to us! 🐰😍🐾

Thinking today of our sweet little Parmo who went over the rainbow bridge on 2 July. He would have been 9 today. Happy memories of our foodie bunny who loved his greens and his blueberries. We’ll never forget you darling 🐰🐰❤️❤️

A very special day on 28th July as Poppy turned 12 years old! Slightly muted celebrations as we lost Parmo on 2 July and still have his loss on our minds. Poppy has softened the blow for us as she is such a delight and seems happy and content with her remaining human family. Banner and balloons though as usual!

Hello everyone. We wanted to thank you all for the kind messages and love that you sent when we lost our darling Parmo on 2 July. It was so comforting to read them and has helped us in these first few days. Poppy is doing really well, they weren’t bonded deeply and just lived near each other. She is active, eating, affectionate and just gorgeous as ever. It really helps to have her love at this time. She will be 12 in a couple of weeks and we hope to celebrate her and the memories of our past bunnies then.

Dearest followers, we have sad news to share that earlier this week we had to help our darling Parmo to his forever sleep. He had been suffering with heart failure for the past 2 months or so and suddenly deteriorated within 24 hours or so. Our wonderful vets saw him straightaway but there was nothing that could be done as he was so ill. We knew this would happen but nothing prepares you for the sadness. Our hearts are broken and we miss him so. Poppy is well and we are concentrating on keeping her happy and comforted. We will post further in a few days to let you know how she is. They weren’t closely bonded so we think she will cope well. Goodbye to our sweet little boy. He would have been 9 in August and we are grateful for every day we have had to love him.

It was on 6 February that this sea grass house was new. Parmo has now customised it with minimalist walls and a velux window in the roof. The floor disappeared almost immediately. It now resembles a bus shelter. He is very proud of himself but has nowhere to hide!

Wishing everyone a restful weekend! Parmo has been relaxing on Mum’s knee but then was spooked by something he saw out of the lounge window….possibly a pigeon!!

Parmo would like to announce that despite having no planning permission as yet he has started “alterations” on his new sea grass house. Please note it has a floor ……at the moment…..
Further “building” progress updates to follow.

Sending Christmas wishes to all our wonderful followers! Poppy and Parmo send kisses and are enjoying their Christmas present from a local rabbit rescue. They are both well and happy! We are managing Poppy’s arthritis with regular anti inflammatory meds and she is lively and as affectionate as ever! Have a wonderful Christmas and new year everyone 🎄🎅🐾❤️❤️🐰🐰###

It was 11 years ago today when Poppy (right) and her sister Pumpkin came into our lives. They were just over 3 months old, sisters, from a litter of 7 mini rexes. Poppy is still with us, aged 11 and 3 months now. Pumpkin passed away some 6 years ago and I think of her every day. I’ll never get over that loss. Remembering her today and so thankful we still have her beautiful sister. Plus, of course, Parmo, who we adopted to keep Poppy company and to give him his forever home ❤️❤️🐰🐰
