Happy boy at the farm:-)❤️
Mom! Throw the darn ball!!
It’s cold out here! Let me in NOW!
Being a butt for mom tonight ... she loves me.
Update: I’m eating again! But mom thinks I may have a food aversion to my regular food still.
Turns out, I have developed Vincristine induced Gastric Hypomotility, meaning what I ate wasn’t moving through my digestive tract very fast, a side effect of chemo (mom still thinks I wanted the extra cuddles from Cheryl at work, and to see my friend Kari in Guelph who is away this week).
I was given some Metoclopramide and am starting to eat again. Moms big task now is determining if I am picky or still not feeling well. However all tests show I should be on the up and up, so she is thinking I’m being a bit of a spoiled brat now.
We will see what the next few days bring, and if mom needs to switch me to the more expensive Royal Canin food or not.
Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers!
Chemo is booked for next Wednesday!
I had so much fun with my brothers at Pawlooza! I love the water!
Everyone who knows me, and saw me today, says I look really good for going through chemotherapy! As you can see, I am feeling really good too!!
Week 13, Cyclophosphamide on Tuesday if the blood results look good!
I had so much fun at Pawlooza today!! Here I am chasing the lure. Mom said I looked like a puppy, waiting in line. I wanted to chase it so bad! But the machine kept breaking down! Still had fun chasing it though!
Mom tells me she made a holistic vet appointment with Main Street Veterinary Services this coming Wednesday to supplement my chemotherapy. She only wants the best for me. And thanks to everyone, I am the luckiest dog around.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should ask about?
Mom has been suggested Red Clover and CBD oil.
Thank you everyone!
For anyone wondering how I’m doing after Monday’s visit, here is a video. I am tired of the forced rest and am happy to play with my friends.
He's not very good at catching, but he still seems to like trying
