Hamble Hounds Dog Training & Problem Solving Calm, joyful, positive and thoughtful ways to help families understand and teach their pups and dogs

At Hamble Hounds, we work with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. Once a dog is relaxed, thinking, and enjoying interactions with humans, they absorb training like a sponge. Sometimes over-excitement, stress, anxieties or sheer mis-understandings get in the way and that's where the Hamble Hounds Team come in useful! ersonal sessions, home visits and a wide range of courses for everyone from 8 weeks old puppies, older pups, to dogs of all ages. Some just want general 'good manners' training, some have behavioural problems .... if you think we can help you, please call (it's much more satisfactory to talk in detail about a dog than drop messages back and forth, and there's no commitment just by having a chat!)

Great News! Gracie is back! After taking some time out to have her son Merlin, Gracie is now back working with Annette, and looking forward to working with old and new clients.... One of her first tasks is to liaise with Santa Paws' elves about the Christmas Party on 15th December.... watch this space!!

BEWARE!!!!!!! The cows are back on Hamble Common, but there are only signs on the main gates, NO SIGNAGE on the 3 stiles..... as I went in quite legitimately via a stile, I really wasn't impressed. I'm all for being responsible around livestock ..... but need to know livestock is there!! Take care 😡

Tally's got ACE balls!!!!
These are great to help dogs de-stress, decompress and calm.
Dog can pull out the strands and the human can tie them back up, great fun for all. Keeps me and Tally entertained for hours!
I also use them like a conventional snuffle mat, hiding food in there.
(Obvs supervise to ensure they don't ingest, and beware if there are any guarding issues)

Hurrah, it's Easter, we're off til 6th April! Tally and I are on a Free Work course with the wonderful Sarah Fisher of ACE next week. Tally first went to Tilley Farm as a 14 week old and was so enthusiastic and well behaved, he will have a great time again as a 9 year old (fingers crossed for the good behaviour!!) http://www.tilleyfarm.org.uk
