Yesterday morning was amazing! Multiple viewings! To quote one of our whips “the coyote stared me dead in the eye and was about 10 feet away”. Absolutely incredible! Love the chase, love the land and love the animals that bring us joy!

NEW DATE FOR THE CLASSIC HUNTER PACE
As we consult the weather reports, it is becoming more obvious that the predicted rain from remnants of Hurricane Debby will have a real impact on riders and the course for the Classic Hunter Pace. We want everyone to have a safe ride and do not wish to risk damage to the properties our generous landowners have allowed us to use for the pace.
The hunter pace is postponed to NEXT Saturday, August 17. If you have already registered, you entry and chosen time slots will be honored next weekend.
If you have registered and cannot make the new date, please contact us via direct message so your entry can be applied to one of the remaining paces this year.
Online entries will remain open through Friday the 16th at 9pm and we hope to see you all next weekend!

Unfortunately, many who signed up did not submit their logs at the end, so we will never know if they beat world records and qualify for the Leg Up Olympics in 2028.

Huntsman Douglas Ottis Russell Russell and the LCH pack are down in Florida helping out Palm Beach Hounds for a few weeks and he sent this video of the pack getting ready to load up and head out for a day in the field. I spy Denny and Fritz, Fern and Jaybird...Ida and Inchworm...who can you pick out?
Second field had a great view and caught it on camera yesterday morning. It was a great morning!
Some days we have beautiful fall weather and other days we have yucky rainy fall weather 🤷♀️. Either way we have a couple hardcore riders that made it out this morning despite the rain and cold. Master Nelson says breakfast at Meier’s Creek Brewery is on him for anyone on a horse in the field this morning!
Last Thursday third field had an interesting view. Not quite a fox but still cool! Luckily the hounds were not near by.
