It’s #derbyday and we had the epic honor of crafting these bouquets for a fundraiser derby party for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- we love a Charity who is not only doing such important work, but hiring local farmer florists to help them bring their vision to life! Locally grown Dusty Miller is used in these bouquets and we supplied locally grown #mint for those #mintjulep - the client loved being able to feature locally grown ingredients and was already wanting to brainstorm about utilizing more locally grown goodies for next year! ❤️ we can’t wait to see the photos from the event and we hope they raise ALL kinds of money
We hope that our strawberry rose mocktails, honeys, florals tubes and samples sweetened your evening because seeing all of your lovely faces and restocking your stashes was our absolute pleasure. We cannot believe it’s almost April- we will definitely get another one on the calendar soon! #gratitude
Getting some long overdue time planting today!!! We have big rain in the forecast (🤞🏼) and also an upcoming freeze! So the clock is really ticking to get the rest of the lemongrass, basil, dahlias, roses, and zinnias harvested. Here are a few photos I couldn’t resist snapping before I got my hands in the soil. Happy Monday! #plantingbeforerain
I love when I get to watch the hummingbirds and bees enjoy ”zinnia row” 🥰
Baby duck cuteness
Still recovering from the overwhelming awesomeness of the yard tours this weekend! I have farm chores, doctors appointments, and then hope to get on the computer for the first time in a week today! Amidst all of the intensity, it’s important to have teeny tiny moments of calm, with a baby duck! Enjoy 💕
No matter where you are buying your fruit trees right now, my guide for peaches will get you everything you need to know to care for that tree for its entire life! Pruning lessons! Fruit thinning lessons! A planting guide to make a full peach tree guild and more ❤️ pictured: bare root peaches at the urban farm pop up nursery
I would like to thank everyone for the unbelievably kind outpouring of comments and messages about my poor 🐝🐝. I am so blessed to be surrounded by a community of love and support! Hopefully this little video of the first Lady Emma Hamilton bloom of the year will end the week on a high note. Nature is resilient. Nature teaches us not to give up!
