Rocco is a cuddler. He is snuggling with me in my afghan from my college days.
So nice to have a cozy kitty with you on a cold winter night. He is Felv and Fiv + but is in good health and needs to be an only cat or with another Felv kitty.
I’m kitty sitting while his foster Mom is out of the country. He is such an easy cat to care for.

Prayer warriors - we need your prayers. Wednesday ( kitty’s name) who has been in medical foster escaped early New Year’s morning in West Hartford. We have had sightings today and we have traps set. We just need this baby to go in !

We are deeply saddened

Animal Friends of Ct (AFOC) on the passing of Sylvia Krajewska, AFOC President.

Sylvia was a dedicated advocate for the well-being of felines in the New Britain area.

Her passion for rescuing rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for sick, injured, stray and abused cats was unwavering. Sylvia‘s tireless efforts made a profound impact on the lives of countless animals.

She will be deeply missed by the entire AFOC community and all those whose lives she touched through her compassion and dedication to animal welfare.

Although our house is feeling empty this morning we are so excited to tell you that Minerva got her Christmas wish and went to her new home yesterday to spend her first Christmas with her new Mom and Dad.

MEET LOUIE !!!

Seven month old, Louie came under Animal Friends’ care when he showed up needing emergency care for a medical issue. A kind staff member offered foster care, and Louie enjoyed the good life around kids, cats, and a dog while healing. He received the best care possible (including neuter and vaccines) and added the staff of the veterinary hospital to his extended family. He would do well with kids, with other cats, with cat-friendly dogs-pretty much a ‘one cat fits all’. He will be ready for adoption December 27. A perfect post-Christmas present!
