What a great evening to sit and just “be”, and just be in awe of Mother Gaia. Was a great ending to taking some more time to figure out my goals and future with ‘s planner and dream book. This will now be my sixth or seventh year using this planner. I’m in love with it ❤️. I highly recommend checking them out.

Soft neck garlic! We like to cure the garlic before cleaning and trimming roots… it’s suppose to help that energy go back into the bulbs… of course we save the biggest for seeding in the fall! 😍

Removed and leveled out the very uneven backyard, and dropped some top soil before the new sod was laid down. Looks so much better!

The Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit was really nice to check out last weekend! I love his work... The big projection room is worth the trip alone...
Was able to get the long bow out of storage! Been a very long while! First photo is me only hitting 1 out of 4 arrows at about 25 feet.
Second and third photo is hitting 3 out of 4 arrows at about 75 feet after practicing a bit.
First honey harvest ever from my bees! Just took one frame since I ran out of honey and needed some more for my daily coffee and tea. Ended up with almost half a gallon from this beauty! 🐝🐝🐝🍯🍯🍯

I'm in love with the wood grain texture left behind from the formwork we used for our concrete foundation to our 800 sf 2 story house. The foot print will only be 400 sf! We will be taking advantage of our beautiful tree and cascade views with a roof top deck!
The raised beds looking pretty, still need to stain the outsides and then line the inside with landscaping fabric.
DONKEY!!! Our bouncing donkey showing off our newly built raised beds. We also made a few from salvaged lumber from another project. Hopefully we can fill these up with some awesomeness soon! So far just one bed filled with sunflowers, beans, greens, squash and cucumbers.

Added windows, a second loft, vents for interior fans, exterior lights, and more refined exterior cladding. Using second used items as much as we can, but keeping it classy. 😎

Got this Amazing goose neck light fixture from Second Use. I welded a back plate plate and bulb base to it prior to painting it matte black, and plan to install it above the entrance to the Tiny house. I'm incorporating and rehoming lots of items for this build, and making it look amazing! This tiny house will be available soon as a rental on our once market garden in Seatac... stay tuned. 🤓

We've decided to make huge changes with the urban market garden in Seatac, which is very bittersweet, but we're still happy as clams... or lobsters.... 😜😄😃
We, of course, still had to start veggies again for ourselves. We'll have a little extra to sell to neighbors though... just not the trays and trays of starts we've done in the past. Feels good to be growing food again after all the crazy that's happened here.

The journey of this fire place… these ikea bookshelves really helped bring it all together. I wanted some more color and contrast, so I sanded and painted the backer to the shelves. Turned out cute. ☺️ not perfect since I could have built it to completely fill the space, but I have a ton of other important things to do as well; however, it still added a lot to the comfort and homely feel with the time and money invested. #doesnthavetobeperfect

Soooooo much sanding before staining and adding the final satin clear coat. I think all the hard work paid off though 😉. Lots of lessons learned and a some minor details that aren’t perfect, but overall this staircase is looking pretty badass.
