I used to be someone’s friend. They cuddled and loved me for many years. Then one day they were gone and I was alone. I waited for them to come back. My belly rumbling with hunger. I’d hear a car and raise my head to see if they were returning for me….they didn’t.
I started catching mice and other things to eat and in turn caught hookworms. Those things will drain you dry of life’s most vital need, blood.
As if that wasn’t enough, I have a wound and a raging infection.
I got weaker and weaker.
I thought I was seeing things when these ladies moved in to catch me and help me.
I’m very sick, but I have a chance now.
I’m not waiting where that car dropped me off anymore. I found a new home for now that would never do that to me.

If anyone can get the Marion County Animal Services or Marion County, Florida powers that be. Even the Marion County Sheriff's Office could possibly respond, but these horses have no water. One had a halter tied around its leg which a friend removed.
The owner is not friendly and Tammi Leedy did try working with him at one time, so there’s a record of this neglect.
How does the county expect us to continue to ignore all the animals suffering around us, horse capital of the world?
