Over the past few weeks, South Side Entertainment Patrol officers continued with their focused enforcement efforts in the East Carson Street corridor.

Here are the arrests and citations statistics for December 1-23, 2024:

Arrest: 39 (including clearing warrants)

Special Victims Detectives are searching for a missing 79-year-old woman.

Natasha Kuchumova was last seen near the Construction Junction, off Penn Avenue and North Lexington Street, at approximately 12:00 p.m. It is possible she is walking in the Homewood area. Natasha only speaks Russian and may be in need of medical attention.

She is described as 5’2” and was last seen wearing a red hat, black coat, black pants, and navy-blue shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 412-323-7141 or 911.

UPDATE: Micaiah Wheeler, 17, of Forest Hills has been arrested and charged with a number of offenses including criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, and carrying a firearm without license. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.

Just after 8:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to the 3900 block of Baytree Street in the vicinity of Perry Traditional Academy for an 11-round ShotSpotter alert.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a juvenile male was the target of the shots fired.

No injuries were reported. However, there was bullet damage to the school, including two broken windows and some damage to the brick work.

Cameras in the area are actively being reviewed to make a positive ID on the suspect.

Police remain on scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Yall I know I love the kids, and yall know kids are always gonna be kids! But I’ve been shooting downtown for 10+ years and sometimes those kids are bad as hell when school lets out 😂 That’s why I was so happy and encouraged when I ran into the PGH Chapter of on Liberty Ave📍 Not cops, not security…just DADS looking out for our youth and giving guidance in the process. These are the real heroes and role models America needs 💪🏾
