I grew up in family that rehabilitated and trained dogs for hobbies and worked in Animal Shelters. My grandmother was a K9 Handler and my mother was active in Dog Shows and Schutzhund dogs. I have been training/rehabilitating shelter dogs/rescues since I was 13yrs of age. Since my first rescue Doberman, I have been researching everything I can about them; from where they come from and why they ar

e here to what they have become today. I know bloodlines and drives.They are a very different working breed and many of their traits can be rooted to their purpose for creation. However, I never blanket coat and have seen my fair share of Dobermans that don't act like Dobermans. It is my goal to leave the breed better than I found it. I strive for health, longevity, correct structure, temperament, and working ability. This breed is extremely versatile and shows strong protective instincts, yet is a wonderful family companion that you can live with.

As we approach the end of our Von Siegruhm era, we will continue forward as Iconic Dobermans.

von Siegruhm will always be cherished as the foundation to so many great things for us. As we have grown, adjusted our plans and goals, and brought so much more knowledge to the table, it was important to us to realign our kennel name with those changes. Hence the rename to Iconic Dobermans.

We love appreciate our von Siegruhm pups and families. They have brought so much joy and accomplishments to our program. I am beyond proud of each and every one of them.

To our von Siegruhm pups that are still with us, here's to many more years. To those who have passed, we cherish the memories and hold you in our hearts. To the many families that have become so close to us through these amazing dogs, you have and always will be, a part of our family.

An absolute beautiful routine by Monica Kopf and Axel.

Beautiful engagement, motivation and energy. This is what we should strive for in any Obedience routine and training. This, with time, brings precision and drive that lasts through complicated exercises and long routines. Is it perfect, no, but this routine makes me want to to go train and motivates.

Huge congratulations to Julie and Bacchus on their DPCA National Scentwork wins.
They earned 1st place in Adv. Containers at both Trials and 4th place Adv Buried. Not only did they earn ribbons but it was at their very first DPCA National.

These two are just kicking butt. So very proud of this team.

Great weekend for a couple of our Opera kids.

Lux, Iconic's Prima Donna, went RWB 2x, Q'd 2x in Advanced Buried and Q'd 1x in Advanced Exterior at the Lake Drake Cluster.

Bacchus, Iconic's Let Me Be Your Light, finished up the weekend with TWO new titles!!! Advanced containers & advanced buried. He got 5 - first place finishes & a 4th at the Oakridge Kennel Club.

So proud of them. The noses on this Our Opera litter is insane. Truly amazing temperaments, amazing at scentwork, amazing at Obedience and they arent bad to look at either. ;)

Happy 6th Birthday to our wonderful Game of Thrones Litter. So grateful for all these amazing puppies and their owners.

Our Story

It is our goal to leave the breed better than we found it. We strive for health, longevity, genetic diversity, correct structure, correct temperament and working ability. This breed is extremely versatile and shows strong protective instincts, yet is a wonderful family companion that you can live with. Iconic Dobermans is the birthplace of AKC Grand Champions, Performance Titles, IPO3 and Service Dogs.

In 2009 Brandy Billington established von Siegruhm Dobermans with the purchase of Von Schlottke’s Divine Dream. She competed in Schutzhund, IABCA, UDC, UKC and AKC Obedience. Von Siegruhm’s first litter, co-bred with von Schlottke, was bred for IPO/Schutzhund and introduced a single pup, Arson Von Schlottke IPO3.

Von Siegruhm’s second litter was Brandy’s attempt at bridging the gap between conformation bred and working bred dobermans, that showed good health and longevity. She passionately believed the Doberman was meant to do it all. With the B-Litter, Qian Li v Vicaral BN BH ATT CD (co-owned by Victoria Hall) bred to RATCHX5 URO2 U-GRCH / Intl CH / UDC CH / AKC GCH Catawba's Power Play CD RE CGC TKA BH IPO1 RATI CZ8P ROM ATT VCX FO P1 ASCA RN BSA E2A , von Siegruhm was then able to add 2 AKC GCh’s, AKC pt’d and multiple performance titles to the von Siegruhm progeny list. One dog specifically, “Joe”, AKC GCH Int. CH, RBIMBS U-CH, URO1 W186 Livin The Dream v Siegruhm CD RA CGC-A RATI RATN SPOT TKA DN followed in his sire’s footsteps helping put von Siegruhm on the map. Joe was predominantly Owner-Handled through all of his titles by co-owners, Tiffany & Paul Shetka. Two other B - Litter Progeny are currently training on the IPO field.

Around the same time as the B-Litter hit the ground, Brandy with a close friend, Joelle Jacob, imported a Euro/South American show line bitch from Night Fever Kennel. “Envy” UDC CH Mischief N Mayhem Night Fever BH BCAT, went on to be the foundation bitch for Iconic Dobermans. With Joelle playing such a important role in von Siegruhm and the upcoming litter being out of her-co-owned bitch, Envy, it only made sense for Brandy to re-brand the kennel and bring on Joelle as a permanent partner in Iconic Dobermans. The Iconic Game of Thrones litter out of Envy and by CH Eclipse's "Let's Roll" IPO3, CD, BSA-E1A, WAC, AD, ROM, BFL-1 , is currently in the AKC conformation ring, IPO fields and out working HRD at only over a year of age. Iconic Dobermans is looking forward to adding many more accomplishments to their progeny list.
