Stevie “Wonder” was my “Love at FIrst Sight” dog. He captured my heart the first time I saw his photo on FB and I declared him mine. Less than a week after he was transferred to Panda Paws Rescue he was in my 4Runner headed from Vancouver, WA to a new life as part of my boxer pack in North Idaho.
Over the years Stevie did not act handicapped at all. He was trusting, courageous, adventurous, snuggly, and full of typical boxer play. He was also a teacher and helped me to grow as a person and as a dog owner/pack leader.
He was definitely a California boy… Stevie loved playing in the surf at the lake and laying in the sun! He loved to play with his fur friends, going on hikes/walks and seeing friends and meeting new friends. He especially loved getting treats - not only from me, but from all of his friends who were not supposed to feed him people food!
Stevie touched the hearts of many people over the years. I hope and pray he is remembered for his amazing spirit and loving soul.
Stevie,
I look forward to the day that we are reunited. ❤️
Love,
Your Momma
RIP Stevie “Wonder” 5.20.22 (approx 8)
There were about four spins and five scratches before I was able to start the video…!
Stevie was feeling spunky this morning!
Stevie seems to be doing a little bit better today so I gave him a new toy… This is the first time he’s played in five days. He has a progress check up at the vet on Friday.
Just a typical boxer at play!!!
Molly and Stevie being so gentle with each other...❤️
Stevie’s toy was temporarily detained for repairs. He’s happy to have it back!
It’s not always Stevie and Eva playing...Micah still gets in the game too sometimes!
