About Double K:
Double K Horse Training works hand in hand with a client and their horse. Sometimes the reason a horse is having a behavior issue is because of physical, emotional or mental, or it is a communication issue between the horse and handler. Double K Horse training will not only let you send your horse to us, but we will even come to you! Sometimes the issues occurring need to be fixe
d at home, not at the trainers. Double K will do a phone interview with the owner, asking questions and evaluating the issues that are occurring. After getting an idea of what is going on we determine if you want training on-site or with us in Cleveland, MN. If training is on-sit we come out to where your horse is located, if Double K can help we move forward from there. In some cases the animal may have a physical issue where training is not needed, the horse may need to see a chiropractor or even a vet, in these cases Double K has referrals available. We do our best to ensure you that we are with you until the issue has subsided and even after we are always available to answer questions regarding you and your horse. If you are sending your horse out to us, horses will be getting worked 5-6 days a week. Progress updates are available, as well as pictures and video. Included with 30 day training package is a free weekly lesson (up to a $50.00 value), the lesson can be used with your horse or ours. With you and your horse working together the results come quickly. Kayla T Krzes:
Kayla is the main horse trainer with Double K and has been riding since she was 12 years old. Kayla has experience showing Western Pleasure in 4-H and loves to work with kids interested in showing horses and dogs. Kayla started Double K in 2009, and has slowly been building Double K since. She realized that most owners feel a little "on their own" or even "lost" when it comes to training their horse. With the horse market the way it is, many people who don't have complete knowledge in training their own horse may have acquired a horse that is too much to handle alone. That’s okay because we can help. Kayla can work with the owner, the family, just the horse, or all together for one flat rate. Kayla started training when she was 18, she worked out of a stable in Glenwood, MN. At this stable Kayla had an accident, a mare flipped over on her damaging her right knee, and herniating discs in her back, unable to continue training she moved back home to Milaca, MN. It was there that she met other people who have had accidents and are now too afraid to deal with their horse any longer. Kayla found that to be a problem. Why should a horse and owner have to separate because of a miss communication or an accident? Even if the horse and owner are not meant to continue down the road together, there is no reason why they still can’t benefit one another by finding the horse the correct home for them, and finding the owner the correct horse. Kayla does not feel that every horse and rider is a perfect fit for one another, for those willing to work through it, the bond and trust is battered and broken but it is not gone. It can be fixed. Together client, horse, and Kayla work hard to establish trust again and find the route of the problem. On-site Rates:
