Yesterday, we went back to Town Vets for a review and my blood test results are all good with no more infection. ☺️ However, I still have mild colitis as I’m still having soft stool with mucus. Thus Dr Boon prescribed me with another course of antibiotics and B12 vitamins.
Also, I was told that I can’t have anymore dehydrated or air dried treats as they are considered raw meat. 😭 On the positive side, it means I can have more of my favorite fresh blueberries! 😁
Oh ya, I passed my Vaccicheck and heartworm tests with flying colors too! ✌🏻

My diarrhea escalated to multiple bloody diarrhea and losing appetite since this wee morning so MaMa decided to bring me for a 2nd opinion since 3 visits to Apex Vet are not helping. 😔
This is our first time at Town Vets and we are very thankful to them for their kindness to accept our walk-in when MaMa panicky showed them my bloody diarrhea. 😭 Their receptionist (sorry we didn’t get your name) acted fast and slotted us in in the afternoon and kept my bloody diarrhea for faecal test. Thank you very much. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏻
When it’s our turn, they had already retrieved my records from Apex Vet which Dr Boon had gone through them before seeing me. Dr Boon is attentive and very patience in explaining everything. ❤️ As Dr Boon felt a swell in my spleen, we proceeded to do 2 blood tests and ultrasound to check my organs.
My 姨姨 (MaMa’s elder sister) rushed down after work to join us. We are very very very grateful to my 姨姨 for taking the time out of her busy schedule to accompany us. Thank you very much. 🥹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Turned out, I have a high infection and inflammation at my colon. So Dr Boon prescribed me with antibiotics and other medicines to help with it and the diarrhea issue. I was given 2 injections too. Now we have to monitor for the next 24 to 48 hours. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Back at early this morning as my liquid diarrhea worsen to once every 30mins since last night. 😔 My 🌼 is so sore now… 😭
We get to see Dr Natasha today and she is as patience and gentle as she always is. ❤️ As for now, she has put me on another course of diarrhea medication where we have to monitor for the next 24 hours. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I vomited 14 times yesterday and 4 times throughout the night. 😵💫 Not knowing what is the root cause, MaMa is so worried she brought me to our trusted vet, , early this morning.
We arrived 30 mins before the opening hours and are very thankful to Dr Natasha and team for your kindness to accept our walk-in though you are fully booked and we didn’t have any appointment made. Thank you very much. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏻
Now we have to monitor my condition and have bland meals for the next 24 to 48 hours. Being a food lover, I hope I feel better soon so I can have my favourite food! 💪🏻
Oh! The best thing is I get to skip bathe this week! Yay! 😉

My hotspot has healed and fur is growing back! ✌🏻 Look at the process after a week and thereafter. 😁
Whenever I have hotspot or yeast infection or cuts, MaMa will use our self mixed diluted iodine to disinfect the affected area twice a day before applying organic extra virgin coconut oil. This is our personal home remedy that we have used for years. Healing process takes longer than using the medication prescribed by vet but it has work for me so far. ☺️
For those who are looking for home remedy, you can try this method too. Having said that, this is not a proven solution for all.
⚠️ Remember that you MUST MUST MUST dilute iodine with water into iced tea color before application. We do not have the ratio, it’s purely based on our naked eyes. Note that pure iodine, right from the bottle, is way too strong for our furkids.
