If you’re in the LA area, Agoura animal shelter could really use everyone’s help!

As a page of over 30,000 members, I think we can make a huge impact. The real heroes in this whole situation have been the brave men and women that have been tirelessly fighting these horrific LA fires. THEY NEED HELP!

One of our very own, Joe Lafirenza, is an engineer at station 69 in the Palisades. Everything around them is gone. I asked how we as a community can help them and here’s how.

LAFD Fire Fund is taking general donations, but FS 69 is currently the most in-need station in the city and would be appreciated if funds could be allocated directly to their specific station.

Currently there is NO water, NO gas, NO electricity, Utilities, etc.
Goes w/saying No cell or phone coverage.

A generator was donated & they got the crude contractor port-a potties.

The men and women are still working 24/7 there and the conditions are not good or hygienic.
Station 69 needs water & smoke remediation, a water tank, portable showers, cleaner portable toilets/sinks for the long haul until water remediation and recovery functional remodel.

This rescue video is pretty graphic, and not for everyone (especially children)
Eldad sent this to me today, told me this rescue reminded him of Jordan.

Reminded me so much of Jordan, and all he went through as a little puppy. Most importantly, reminds me that there are people out there, angels on earth, that help these animals regain their health, and also regain their trust in humans. Eldad and his team at Hope For Paws are angels on earth ❤️

OMG! OMG! OMG! 🙌 This is one of the luckiest rescues of my life!!! YESTERDAY, we got a text on the Hope For Paws line about these two homeless dogs, and we were told that one of them MAY be pregnant!

Katie and I rushed over to the rescue location. The pregnant one immediately disappeared, and we waited two hours for her return. By the time she returned, we were prepared, and it didn't take long to get her and the black and white dog (who we were told is her daughter).

As soon as I secured her, I realized that she is HOURS AWAY FROM GIVING BIRTH!!! (she is the tan one). She was starving, matted, and filthy - what a terrible position to be in, especially while pregnant. 😓

We rushed back to get both dogs cleaned up, and the whole time, I was praying she wouldn't go into labor while we were shaving or bathing her. 😨🙏

After a quick visit with the doctor, Katie took them home, and I am happy to report that contractions started 15 minutes ago - the puppies are coming!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I am so happy she didn't give birth to them TODAY in that filthy environment!!! Imagine having to give birth to multiple babies out on the street without a clean blanket, without food, and while it's so cold outside!
