ℹ️ SPAY & NEUTER ℹ️

We are trying to identify pets in need of sterilization for 2024.

If you or anyone you know are in a position where you are truly unable to afford private veterinary sterilization for your pets, please contact us via email on [email protected] or via WhatsApp/sms on 082 932 9182 or inbox us on Facebook.

Our staff will have to ask some personal questions pertaining to your financial status and income. Also be prepared to provide proof of income. This forms part of our means test.

Please take note that this call for interest is not a guarantee of sterilization assistance. We are merely trying to determine the need in order to plan ahead for future projects and to compile a list of possible beneficiaries.

PLEASE KEEP SHARING FOR A SPECIAL HOME FOR THESE SPECIAL NEEDS KITTENS🙏😔

We know it's a big ask, but we are really hoping we can find a special family to give these 2 special needs kitties a chance.

Ash & Mickey were rescued from horrible circumstances and due to not getting treatment for snuffles in time, they are both visually impaired. We have done all we can for these little ones, no expense was spared to get them the treatment and care they needed.

They are ready to be part of a special someone's family, somebody who will look beyond their "special" needs and love them anyway. Could that be you?

Please reach out to us if you are the lifeline they are hoping for.

Available for adoption
We have 6 donkeys available for adoption. Their adoption fee is R500 each. The stallions will be castrated. They all come out of bad situations, and need a lot of TLC.
If you have space and you can give them a happy, stress-free home, then they would like to meet you.
We will not approve an application if the intention is to use the donkeys as working animals. They suffered enough.
We are open on Saturdays from 8 to 12.
Our office no is 0152911088

Our food store is completely empty😭. We have 25 dogs and 20 cats to feed, and animals are still streaming in. We urgently need help. We have dogs of all sizes, including puppies, as well as adult cats and kittens. We need dry food for all sizes and ages, and wet food for puppies and kittens. We cannot do this without the support of our community as we can simply not afford to purchase food every day.

This information is very important to know.
When you see a dirty cat
This is important information to know about why cats look dirty.

🔺 Cats can resist hunger for up to a week on average, but no more than 2-3 days in case of thirst.

🔺 Cats are usually very clean, they are groomed several times a day, if you see a cat that is not clean, it is DEHYDRATED and has been so for many days.

🔺Your saliva glands are not functioning properly because they require moisture.

🔺 Please, if you see a stray kitten apparently dirty, DO NOT run or see it disgusting, it has already had difficult days in which it probably hasn't eaten or drank anything for a long time. This is how you don't like cats, express kindness for compassion.

🔺 For humanity, empathy, and love for your neighbor, bring food and above all a container with WATER. It's not easy being thirsty and hungry and not being able to say a word! 💔🥺

“Helping a disadvantaged being, is the opportunity that gives you life to be a better person.”. "
MAKE IT SPREAD THE WORD PLEASE.

Heat wave!!
Keep your animals cool, make sure they have shelter from the heat, and water to prevent becoming dehydrated. If you feel the heat, imagine how they feel.

🐈The commitment is real🐈
Not until you move
Not until you find a cuter one
Not until you get bored
Not until you get a baby
Not until you develop an allergy (lots of people live with cats that are allergic)
The cats are the ones that suffer after being part of a family for months then dumped in a cattery.
LET’S BE RESPONSIBLE THIS FESTIVE SEASON! .

This boy is SO, SO sweet and it is just SAD to see him waiting, week after week, with NO enquiries to adopt. Everyone just walks past his kennel, as if he isn't even there...

PLEASE come and meet Luca? He is the perfect little companion! Not too big, not too small, so handsome and soooooo very sweet. He deserves so much better...

He is in Kennel S4 and is a small to medium mixed breed, TOO precious. He is waiting JUST for you! Please con't let him wait any longer? Just pop in or contact 011-975-6537.

SPCA rules also prohibit non sterilised dogs/cats being adopted outside of our district, meaning that any puppy/kitten would need to be at least 3/4 months old and sterilised already if leaving the district.
